We value our PC gaming fans as much as gamers on any other platform, and we're to make sure that you guys get the gaming experience that you deserve. The first patch, available in the downloads section, addressed some high priority issues. With the second patch, we're getting into the really nitty-gritty, picky stuff that make the difference between a good game, and a great one. Keep an eye out for it!

Here's the word straight from Criterion:

Good news for PC players as we look to make the experience even better for those who have reported difficulties.

We hope to have another update coming through shortly that will look to address the following:

* Groundcover Graphical Errors

When alt-tabbing, the groundcover would start to corrupt, causing random tree images to appear all over the screen.

* Controller Configurations

On some machines controller configurations that have been set up for wheels, pads, etc are not saving correctly to a configuration file. This is now fixed.

* Rare crash when entering the Career map screen

The game sometimes crashes when entering the Career map screen quickly after booting the game.

* Rare crash when streaming graphical data

* Steering response reported as having large dead zone

* Player car engine volume too low

There remains an outstanding crash affecting players with AMD / ATI Radeon graphics cards if they have overridden the AA settings in the control centre. This occurs as you pick an event in the map screen prior to the car select.

Thankfully our friends at AMD/ATI have informed us that this will be fixed in the next release of AMD's drivers (10.12) around the second week of December.

Each vehicle was carefully chosen for their unsurpassed performance, speed and ability for players to post the fastest times on their speed wall and push the limits of social competition. All of the cars will be available as a cop and a racer, so players can use these powerful machines to either enforce or evade the law.

The Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Super Sports content pack will be available worldwide beginning on December 21 on the Xbox 360 and the PS3 in North America and on December 22 on PlayStation Network in Europe. The Super Sports content pack will be available for £5.49 (560 Microsoft Points).

Installato ieri...e graficamente è la cosa più bella mai comparsa sul mio monitor dopo crysis. Gli scenari sono di una bellezza mastodontica, specialmente la costa. Manca giusto l'AA attivabile ma a 1920x1080 non se ne sente troppo la mancanza.

Il gameplay è più serio di quanto pensassi: mi aspettavo un nuovo Burnout Paradise, invece, pur essendo abbastanza simile, presenta una rudimentale gestione del peso della vettura che lo rende un pò più difficile e "intelligente" (per carità resta sempre un arcadozzo ma un pò più impegnato)

Non ho gradito molto la modalità di gioco time trial in cui ti aggiungono secondi sul tempo ogni volta che tocchi le recinzioni laterali, temo che alla lunga possa diventare un pò frustrante. Per il resto le altre modalità mi sono parse più che gradevoli per distrarcisi un'oretta.

Bravi Criterion che dimostrano di saperli bene fare gli arcade.

The Title Update for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Version 1.1 is available on the Xbox Live Marketplace and the Playstation Network Store. You can find it in the recent releases list, or by searching for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit by title.

Not only do you get three hot convertibles FREE for your trouble, but you need Version 1.1 to get your hands on the Super Sports Pack.

Most importantly, version 1.0 and version 1.1 are not compatible online, so if you and your buddies want to jump into a game of Hot Pursuit, you'll all need to be running the same version. So upgrade to Version 1.1 and get all your friends to do the same!

The following issues have been fixed in this patch:

* Flickering graphics after Alt-Tabbing out of the game and back.

* Controller configurations sometimes failing to save correctly.

* Steering response dead-zone when playing with steering wheel controllers.

* Player car engine audio volume too low.

* Some issues with CPU performance.

* Rare crash issue when entering the Career map screen.

The patch also contains 3 Free Cars!: The Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible, the Lamborghini Murciélago LP 650-4 Roadster and the Dodge Viper SRT10 Convertible Final Edition.

Note: After installing this patch you will only be able to play online against players who have also installed it. You will, however, continue to get Autolog updates from all other players regardless of which version they are using.
