The competition takes place in Hannover Germany at Cebit and in conjunction with the Intel Extreme Master tournament going on. This does not include the cars that are given to you for winning races or obtaining levels. So there are a hanful more cars within the game. As you can see the modeling and graphics within NFS Shift 2 are very good. The cars come to you in order of price and continue to get better as the video goes on.
