Guest Uff Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 E' stata aperta una nuova discussione su RSC contenente questo plugin: per chi volesse provarlo, ecco le coordinate. We have been discussing some aligning torque simulation issues at the end of this thread http://forum.racesimcentral.com/showthread.php?t=287267 but since we started to deviate from the original thread intent, I have opened a new thread. As a result of the discussion, here is a very quick attempt at rewriting the steering FFB effects from scratch based on more or less accurate Pacejka curve fit for Mz (self-aligning torque). 1. Tested on default BMW F1 (some wheel geometry is hardcoded) 2. Wheels lock range is 14.5 degrees (default, can be changed in LeoFFB.ini) 3. Mz peaks at about 3.5 degrees slip angle and crosses zero at 9 4. B C D E parameters from Pacejka Mz curve are all in LeoFFB.ini - some of them have very strong influence on the result (parameter C in particular) 5. I have not tidied up lose ends (like correct forces when driving backwards and spinning around) but otherwise it is surprisingly fun to drive To install, unzip BOTH files into Plugins folder and take BMW F1 fro a spin To uninstall, just delete LeoFFB.dll and LeoFFB.ini Cheers! carlomacher Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Interessante, ovviamente e' incompatibile con il Real FF Plugin di TechAde, tra l altro abbastanza contrariato visto ke m ha detto di nn essere stato quantomeno informato, ovvio ke nn ce' alcuna esclusiva e kiunque puo' fare qualsivoglia addon pero' magari poteva avere un occhio di riguardo nell avvertire TechAde in quanto unico autore di un lavoro precedente e inedito.
