Guest Amon
Il readme del primo Mod: NASCAR® Racing 2003 Season 1.1.0.2 - Project Wildfire Busch Grand National Series Add-on 1.0 08/09/03 TABLE OF CONTENTS [1] HOW TO INSTALL THE ADD-ON [2] RUNNING THE GNS ADD-ON FOR THE FIRST TIME [3] FEATURES [4] KNOWN ISSUES [5] TROUBLE REPORTING [6] CREDITS ************************************ NOTE: The GNS Add-on will only work if you have previously installed the Papyrus 1.1.0.2 Patch. The installation of the GNS Add-on will modify the track.ini files. If you have modified the track.ini files the installation will write over your changes. It is suggested that you create a separate install of NR2003S, the patch, and the GNS Add-on. ************************************ [1] HOW TO INSTALL THE ADD-ON ==================================== Run the setup program, 'pwf_gns.exe' which for most users will just be a matter of clicking next all the way through the setup. If you have multiple instances of NR2003S installed, pwf_gns.exe will automatically detect the directory structure of the latest install. You have the option of installing to other instances of NR2003S as well. If the Setup program does not detect a valid NR2003.exe file in the installation directory, it will report an error. You must install the GNS Add-on to a valid installation of NR2003. [2] RUNNING THE GNS ADD-ON FOR THE FIRST TIME ==================================== You will notice 2 arrow buttons at the bottom of the main menu with the phrase "Active Series" to the left of the arrow buttons. Use the buttons to select "Grand National" Your player info will remain the same as it is for the Cup series but you'll want to choose a car to use in the Grand National Series. The Paint kit is fully functional in the GNS Add-on and all of the features for importing/exporting cars are implemented as described in the retail NR2003 Series documentation. [3] FEATURES ==================================== A: Realistic Paint Schemes for 45 drivers and teams for the 2003 season have been included. Additionally, Many of the fictional cars driven by the Project Wildfire team have been included. B: Graphics Enhancements - Paint scrapes and 'donuts' have been added to the damage model. (This has also been added and included for the Cup model as well) - Pit Road tape markers are displayed on pit road. The color of the tape is determined by the color of the bottom center of your warwagon. The tape markers are helpful for not overshooting your pit stall and stopping to close to the wall. - The Dashboard has been modified and has a similar layout to those found in the Busch Grand National Series. - The Wheels have been enhanced and now include a 3d hub. C: Physics - Papyrus included numerous physics changes to approximate the feel of a Grand National stock car. Dimensions, weights, horsepower, suspension motion and steering ratios as well as aero mapping have all been updated for the GNS physics. - Fast and Qual setups have been included. D: The AI in the GNS Add-on has separate and distinct attributes from the Cup AI. [4] KNOWN ISSUES ==================================== - Tire marks (donuts) may appear on the side of your car after scraping the wall and not another car's tire(s). - Tire marks and scrapes may go away after repairing damage. - The championship season calender is the same as the Cup championship season calender. After all of the tracks that Busch Grand National Series runs on are released, a calender will be provided that matches the current GNS championship season. - There is an issue with the way the pit road tape displays in the first few pit stalls at Watkins Glen. [5] TROUBLE REPORTING ==================================== Project Wildfire is not supported by or affiliated with Vivendi Universal Games, Sierra Online, or Papyrus Racing Games so please do not call or email the above technical support with Project Wildfire GNS Add-on issues. Guest Jean
Link to comment
