ilJoe Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 riporto da rfactorcentral: Thank-You to all those who made and hand a hand in creating the Aero Wars Mod for NR2003 and converting it to rFactor. This "mod" is more of a collection of releases for the Aero Wars Mod with editied Street Stock Physics. Car Specs: 15 Gallon Fuel Tank Weight: 3150lbs 50/50 Front to Rear Weight Motor: 215 HP V8 Models: 1988 Chevy Monte Carlo 1988 Buick Regal Available Car Setup changes: Fuel Level Air Pressure Camber Steering Lock Brake Pressure Left to Right Weight ** The purpose of this "mod" is to teach those who do mostly road courses how to drive ovals. Consider this the rtrainer of the stockcar world. Limited setup, low power should make these a blast online. This is our first attempt at any sort of mod so be nice!** On Tap for Version 2: Custom Sounds Dirt Upgrade New Models ==Street Stock SHOOTOUT!== Version: 1.0 06-14-2007 ~Dedicated to the memory of Nicole Barlow~ INSTALLATION: Drop the rFm Folder and the GameData Folder into your main rFactor Directory You may get a prompt to overwrite sound files. They are stock ISI files included with the mod. Some people, have apparently deleted these sound files. This will not mess up your current install. OTHER NOTES: Two models are available - Monte Carlo and Buick - These were selected due to the grass roots look to the cars. The Ford and Pontiac were left out because they looked too big league. A sugguestion for adding your own car to the mod is to look at the other .veh files and copy their example. If you want a car on the Monte Carlo, copy a veh file from the Chevy Folder. If you want the other shape, take the veh file from the Ford folder. These things are supposed to be local short track entry level cars. They are not designed to go out onto Daytona or places bigger than 3/4 of a mile. They are also not designed to do 500 lap races. These cars typically run 50 laps at the most. The goal of this mod was to create a way for road course guys to come to learn how to drive on ovals. Setups options have been locked on purpose as these are typically the adjustments available to the local driver on a race night. A base setup is available in the NationalStockcar/AerowarStreetStocks/SS_Data folder. It is listed as Joesville.svm CREDITS: Original NR2003 AeroWar '88 Mod TheUSPits CONVERSION TO RFACTOR: "Joe B.
