I highly recommend you set your monitor's colour temperature to the graphic standard of 6500k, and also calibrate your monitor using Adobe Gamma, or other programs or information pages you can find online. While it may take a week to get used to your new settings, you will undoubtedly come to see that 9300k has far too blue a white point. Under 6500k your photographs and games will look better than ever. So be sure not to dispell the initial change as "too red" or "too orange". Give your eyes and brain time to adapt.
