can't connect to server

I can't connect to server.

yes i did install all the requirted things.

i did the serverconfig,

I got a router. is that the problem, if so

can u tell me the orts and i will port forward them

explain better.

are u tring to join your own server.... ?

problem to connect with server taken from tracker?

3 things usually.

1) click add, wait 10-15 sec and the server appear.

2) wait until the ping get stable (the first seconds it's usually very high and if u try to connect u can't)

3) after clicking join wait until u can read "ur name is in the pit" , the bar is green and the full list of the player appear on the left.

ANd i also bought a jostick its a wingman force 3D not a steering wheel can i still play netkar with this and if i can what are the controlls.

YES u can play with the joystick, just 3 post behind urs there should be a easy way to conf it.

i am getting my drivers license next year, i don't think i'm going to do well. lol

for sure netkar is a real simulator and who is used to drive a car maybe in the start get a little bit advantaged.

Everybody get impressed with netkar for it's hard aproach, it's not easy do get good laps and to void crashes.

my suggestion is to start with Minicooper maybe on the crystal track, it's easy and u can gain some technics. the try the modena.

remember cars like supra f3000 needs a good setup, modena mini zonda are street cars and u can't modify the setup.

choose a track, choose a car and then drive as much as u can. after it it would be easier to learn new tracks and cars.
