Guest max 2 Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 your question is a bit too open to have a right answer... try to give a wide response: netkar is a game u can play only with analouge controls, so a Stearing Wheel or a joypad with sticks (example the roumble pad of logitech) it's impossible to play with keyboard, u can' t even assign racing buttons to the keyboard exclude those assigend by the system (example ABS on or off in the car that suport it). to configure your gaming device it's quite simple but looks complicated. Open netkar and choose contoll setting(sorry if Idon't write down the right pattern but I don't have nk right here under my nose to remember the right names) in the top left there is e bar if u use a Swheel move it to linear, with a pad it's better to have more exponential. than u choose the radiobotton of the stearing (left right) move the dive with the stick(if it's a pad) or move the wheel to see wich axis is used on the right side of the screen. then press the button next to it. for the break and the gas command there are an extra field to select. split axis +- and combined axis +-: it's a kind of complex for me to explain it right, split axis means that ur device has the gas and the break on 2 different potentiometer(spelling heheheh), so it's the case of a Swheel, the combined is used when u use a pad and u break and trhottle with the same stick. + & - gives the direction of the stick. just try. to be sure to have rigthly set ur device just. turn left and right, the bar on it shuold move as you. give gas, the bar shuold be empty when u have the pedal up, and blue when it's all the way down. break, same as the throttle. se the look right look left (radio button then the relative button on the pad) and the shift up and shift down. I think it's all.... maybe my explanation is hard to be understand becouse my poor english... just try and u will setup ur device well.
