Guest stone-rhino Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 Are there any plans to add mouse steering support? I can understand keyboards being detrimental to the game, but a mouse can be as useful as a joystick for analogue control of a single axis, can't it?
Guest Bacchulum Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 As a thoroughbred simulator I don't think they have plans for anything other than a wheel, unless a car is produced (in real life) that uses a mouse to control it.
Guest max 2 Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 maybe the mouse can be developed to controll the GPS in the car..... no mouse will be not implemented in NK as far as I k know, it'll be unrealistic and not very usefull. if u don't want to buy a steering wheel a joypad with analoug sticks is a good chioce and practicale with other games too, not only car driving
Guest stone-rhino Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 A joypad isn't very realistic either. Neither is using buttons instead of pedals. How about a force-feedback clutch, is that required too? A mouse can be very useful, live for speed is very playable with it.
