You might not know Alessandro Baldasseroni - known online as Eklettika - but if you play PC or Xbox games, you know Alessandro's creations. A digital artist working for Milestone, an Italian videogame development studio, Baldasseroni is celebrated for the rich textures and realistic lighting of the 3D models he has developed for games such as Superbike 2001* and Apex*.

First exposed to computers in secondary school (the Italian equivalent of high school), Baldasseroni studied computer science "because it was cool." But mere feeds and speeds did not satisfy him and he longed for something that could encompass his passion for comic books, science fiction movies, computers, and illustration.
