This is the GT500 , with 510hp, integral traction and 6 gears. It has a vague similarity with the Nissan GT-R, that I have then taken as model of reference for graphics files. It have tried also on the beautiful English circuit of Moorlands, 10km of pure rally on asphalt ( the ancient emotion to graze the walled up...), where has given world-beater of itself creditable to the fantastic thing |handling| and to the studied distribution of the weight. File Name: Alfa Romeo 156-AER Turbo GT & E1 File Submitter: Alessandro Pollini File Submitted: 09 Jan 2012 File Category: Cover wheel Mods Author : Totenkopf this is a mod just for the fun of making something, so don't expect a "Shift2 conversion" quality. The base model is the Alfa 156 GTA WTCC with new wing and splitter, and totally new physics. GT Version: This car has a 3.6l Turbo AER engine with 658hp and 1100kg, but this is not indicative: the car is made to be slower than the GT1 cars, but faster than the GT2 cars; a sort of "G2" E1 Version: "E1" is the category where this kind of cars race in Italian hillclimb championship, don't know if it's the same in the rest of the world. Same engine of the GT, but 40kg less than the GT. The gears are a lot shorter (top speed around 220km/h). This is for the short straights of the hillclimb tracks. This car overheats the engine after 7-8mins, but a lap on a hillclimb track is long no more than 2mins (except Pikes Peak). Both version have now RWD and specific Yokohama GT tyres, adjustable gearbox and a fuel consumption slightly better than a GT1. But the car is not intended for endurance races: it has only 70l fuel. If you need more you can always increase the value in the .hdc The mod is tested on a totally clean installation (my 12th lol), but for any kind of problems let me know. After some discussion on the Sim sites and looking at more footage i feel that the sand mound at the end of Arnarge was a smaller sand trap running along the track edge and the large mound was, if it existed further up the run off road. Sometime back I remodelled the mesh, reworked quite a few sections, added variuos objects and completely retexured it all to produce the road layout for a gtr2 league to use. It's called Motegi 2009 because its the same name released for gtr2 must be nearly 2 years ago .. this is slighty updated from that earlier version added the GTR2 Style startlights /pitlights, made some alterations to GDB and altered the way the cars leave the garages ..also includes animated marshals and working rain reflections..track will show up as "Motegi 2009" in track selection screen Cameras were kindly made by "Luigi" and also thanks to BlackHawk & FrankyBB for their GTR2 style LOD.
