iRacing Fuel Tool

[VELOCIPEDE]

I have done a tool for automatic fuel management for iRacing. It reads all fuel related information from the iRacing application when you drive a car and shows them in two different selectable modes (see images below).

The application also calculates how much fuel you need for entered number of laps based on the consumption of the latest driven lap or average consumption of the latest 5 laps. So, the application can be used to just follow up fuel status or to calculate required amount of fuel for a race stint.

For some reason the application does not work well in my system if I set iRacing to windowed mode and the fuel manager application to the same display. In practice this application requires that you have two displays, one for iRacing and one for the application.

This view shows all available data and required fuel calculator.

Here green blocks on the left shows how many laps you can still drive. The top block shows number of the remaining laps if there are more than 4. In the red area is shown remaining amount of fuel.

Here is the first release available http://sites.google.com/site/itoolfuelmanager/

Installation instructions:

1. Unzip the 7z-file (for example by using 7zip -application or any other zip-tool).

2. Execute the setup-file. That is all.

Exe-files have been virus-checked with Avast -antivirus tool. However, I suggest downloaders to check files before execution by your own antivirus-tools.

The application has been tested in quite advanced Windows 7 system. I have otherwise limited testing possibilities. If you notice any problems, just let me know...

There are donation -links in the application and download pages if you want to give some positive feedback for me. The application is free to use.

PS. If someone could draw nice icon for the application, I would appreciate that...
