We have uploaded a public beta update for rFactor. This public beta is intended to test a new matchmaker system for rFactor. Before you install it please make sure to make backups of the following files:

\rFactor\rFactor Dedicated.exe

\rFactor\rFactor.exe

\rFactor\UIData\UI.osc

\rFactor\plugins\NetCommUtilPlugin.dll

This updated DLL requires v1048 or above of the EXE. It will look to a new matchmaker being hosted by ISI. Use at your own risk.

questo intervanto per farti notare una imprecisione nel post che hai editato.

Ci tengo a precisare che non è una nuova patch, benchè ovviamente la V1048 sia parte del processo evolutivo, correggendo qualche bug e aggiungendo qualche feature, ma è semplicemente un test che è necessario fare in multiplayer, e con quanti più utenti possibile.

Lontano dall'idea degli ISI, quella di rilasciare patch o update ufficiali in versione beta.

forse la notizia che hai editato sarebbe stata più consona alla realtà e la notizia editata sarebbe stata utile agli utenti che intendono supportare gli ISI nel test, dato che RSC è il sito di riferimento per il feedback che gli ISI hanno chiesto.

v1048 is not compatible with v1040 - you can't join games with different versions, even if they used the same matchmaker. It was stated to back up your v1040 executables and the OSC and net DLL, and you absolutely should, especially for playing multiplayer.

v1048 non è compatibile with v1040- non potrete unirvi ad una partita usando versioni differenti, nemmeno se queste versioni usano lo stesso matchmaker.

E' stato chiesto di fare un backup degli eseguibili in V1040, del file OSC e del dll "net", e assolutamente il backup è consigliabile, sopratutto per poter giocare in multiplayer

The matchmaker is the application that helps you find other games when you go to join a multiplayer game - the list is generated by the matchmaker and sent to you. This is what we primarily want to test - this "update beta v1048" isn't meant as a patch, even if it does include some fixes, updates, and optimizations.

Don't quote me, but it probably addresses several graphical issues that were introduced with the v1040 update. You'll also find some support for sending setups and fixed setup options, although these haven't been tested extensively yet.

Non citatemi, ma probabilmente risolve diversi problemi grafici che erano sopravvenuti con l'update alla v1040. In V1048 potrete trovare anche un supporto iniziale per mandare gli assetti e opzioni per il "fixed setup", sebbene queste features non siano ancora state ancora testate intensivamente.

Bello il pulsante per inviare il setup, peccato però che lo si debba mandare per forza a tutti e nessuno può rifiutarlo.
