Each mirror can be adjusted separately, as internally each is now using its own camera in the 3D engine. The current setup finally closely matches what a real truck driver would see.

The next stage now will be obtaining the final green light from truck manufacturers on the quality of the 3D models. It is one thing to obtain the "legal blessing" to be able to officially use a truck and the associated brand, but before we can even think of shipping the game, we need to get our art signed off after a review of the fidelity of the final model. The review process largely depends on images, on screenshots, but we are also usually creating a short video to better demonstrate what kind of impression the vehicle makes. VELOCIPEDE Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 Mercedes-Benz Actros model The Actros was one of the first 3D truck models that we have started working on when we commenced the Euro Truck Simulator 2 project. Time is flying a bit too fast for us, the New Actros was launched meanwhile to replace the MP3, but this model would definitely make a great addition to the ETS2 truck fleet....
