Off-Road Drive, the off-road racing simulation for PC and Xbox 360, is the first game ever to deliver a true-to-life, off-road, extreme racing experience. Players will take part in The Russian trophy, Off-Road Trial, Thai Trophy and many other events through the worst driving conditions with a variety of natural obstacles like swamps, rocks, snow and sand. No other game features this variety of off-road sport vehicles including tuned stock SUVs and trucks, as well as several classes of prototypes specifically built for off-road driving.

The vehicles can be equipped with an assortment of special cross-country equipment and accessories including winches, low gear, differential gear locking, GPS, clinometer, altimeter, tire air pressure control, sand tracks, etc. There has never been such an innovative simulation of interactive terrain response as well. Terrain under the vehicle will act just like it does in real life, the car will sink in dirt, the dirt will create a rut and will stick to the car and tires affecting its handling. Stones will fly from underneath the wheels and damage other trucks. The game will feature various surfaces that will not only affect tire friction but have complex reactions based on car weight, speed, wheel torque, tire condition, time on this surface, depth of car immersion into the surface and much more.

Off-Road Drive is the next title in the famous off-road driving simulation series.

Cross-country driving in specially tuned Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) is the real challenge for determined and tough extreme sports drivers. This sport becomes more and more popular across the world every day.

Off-Road Drive lets players participate in various international competitions never seen before in a video game. All virtual contests are the exact duplicates of the real ones, including various extreme driving and use of the rules established by the international auto sports federations.

Vehicles in the game have the same features as the real prototypes. Each one belongs to a certain class suitable for certain competitions and fully complies with the international requirements. While completing the tracks in varying difficulties, players not only control the speed and heading of the vehicle, but locking the main, front and rear differential gears, using the winch, shifting into low gear and adjusting tire pressure.

Sembra davvero bello! Ero giocatore appassionato del buon vecchio "screamer 4x4" della Clever's Development, che fino ad ora ha rappresentato l'apice della simulazione off-road realistica...dalla sua aveva la fisica e la trasposizione virtuale dei fuoristrada rappresentati, con tanto di marce ridotte, differenziali bloccabili e sbloccabili manualmente...si andava dalla Toyota Landcruiser fino alla Jeep Cherokee XJ seconda serie passando per la Jeep Wrangler, il Mitsubishi Pajero, la prima serie della Land Rover Defender arrivando fino al mastodontico camion RABA H18...tutti fedelmente riprodotti sia esternamente che interiormente.

Era anche quello un prodotto russo, se non erro...o comunque dell'europa dell'est.

Ma torniamo a questo Off-Road...

...si sa che mezzi saranno inclusi?
