La Codemasters ha riportato sul proprio forum alcune informazioni dettagliate riguardanti la prossima patch ufficiale per il nuovo Toca Race Driver 2, che implementerà fra le altre cose gli specchietti retrovisori:
"Obviously we've got a really big title, but it doesn't hurt to have a bit of breathing space either side... It's only a couple of weeks. and anyway- you'll have the multiplayer demo to keep you going in the meantime. that's coming next week, and will have some different cars and tracks for you to drive. It'll be V8s and DTM again, but with the jag replaced by something else. what that is, you'll have to guess.
#CONTINUE#
Here's some of the things we're doing- basically to cover bases: Dropping the rev limiter on the Aussie V8s by 500 RPM; Work on Bathurst to smooth out the top a bit more; More track and car combos in free race and online; Mirrors (PC); Left-right glance; Saving replays (PC); Some Front-end Changes; Bugfixes (PC); Compat fixes (PC); Security. (PC)
All of this is currently planned for the PC patch, some will also be in the Xbox Live update. Mirrors are definitely PC-only (as the xbox version is right up against the hardware and adding it would drop the frame rate.) I don't know when it'll be ready, so don't ask. The game's not even out yet.
So anything on the above list, you can stop asking for. We're working on it. It may not make it into the final patch, because things don't always go as planned, but that's the current hit list."
