La Atari ha annunciato oggi che la versione XBox360 dell'atteso Test Drive Unlimited è entrata in fase gold, ovvero di stampa e quindi distribuzione. Sulle altre piattaforme il gioco arriverà invece a ottobre - novembre.
In attesa dell'uscita, prevista per il prossimo 8 settembre, i giocatori interessati potranno avventurarsi per le strade del gioco Atari grazie ad una seconda demo giocabile, il cui rilascio è previsto per domani 24 agosto, ovviamente tramite il Marketplace di Xbox Live.

Secondo il comunicato di Atari la demo sarà piuttosto corposa e conterrà oltre un'ora di gioco in un'area di circa 60 chilometri quadrati sull'isola di Ohau (Hawaii), inedita rispetto a quanto già visto e provato nella precedente demo. A disposizione dei giocatori troveremo tre bolidi su quattro ruote (Ferrari F430, Ford Mustang GT e AC Cobra) e, per i patiti di due ruote, la Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. Infine, la demo conterrà alcune missioni single-player offline e modalità di gioco online. Non rimane dunque che attendere poche ore e visitare il Marketplace di Xbox Live.
