Vi segnaliamo gli interessanti software gratuiti sviluppati dalla tedesca SimTools: si tratta di una applicazione principale, denominata SimAdapter, in grado di leggere i dati dei vari simulatori di guida ed inviarli poi per la visualizzazione ad un secondo monitor dedicato o altri dispositivi. SimTools are a collection of tools that allows to acquire realtime data from a variety of racing simulations and process it in many different ways. The main application is SimAdapter. It is characterized by an intelligent plug-in system capable of reading real-time data from every imaginable race simulation, and pass it to every hard-/software.

In addition, SimAdapter contains a client / server component, allowing the data to be processed on external systems! SimView is as such a client application. It runs either locally or on an external system. SimGauge is a data output plugin, which allows to show the data on various instruments.
