For starters, EA seems to have nailed the street-racer approach perfectly. If you're a gamer and you saw the movie in question -- even the sequel -- you were likely envisioning something like this. The good news is that it's shaping up to be a solid and extraordinarily good-looking racer, with the usual snooty manufacturer staples replaced with Honda, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Dodge, Ford and Nissan. It's less bubble-gummy than Ridge Racer, but not an inaccessible hardcore sim, either.
