Innanzitutto di cosa parliamo: F1 Championship Manager è un simulatore manageriale di Formula 1, attualmente in fase di sviluppo e previsto in uscita per la fine di quest'anno, con molte ambizioni, che mira a diventare il riferimento del settore. La novità , annunciata da qualche giorno, è che in F1 Championship Manager si potrà iniziare la propria carriera dalla stagione 2003, con tutte le nuove regole della FIA.

The decision has finally been made! F1CM will start after the 2002 season, meaning we will implement the 2003 rules system. We have given a lot of thought into this and we decided this would be the best way to go.
What will this mean for the game?:
The overhaul of the race module will be used to include the new rules system, this actually makes our lives a lot easier because the new rules allow an easier race system.
Will this mean another set back in the alpha sequence?:
The answer is easy: no!
We already had to overhaul the race module and the new rules make the system easier.
The F1CM team are aware of the licensing issues etc that have come into effect and it may be necessary for the game to be changed again - Publisher dependant etc. However, we feel that this migration to the 2003 season and rules is an important stage in creating what we hope will be the best ever F1 management simulation.
