Per migliorare le prestazioni delle periferiche sono necessari continui aggiornamenti, da parte della casa che produce questi oggetti, per quel che riguarda i drivers. Fortunatamente, la maggiorparte delle ditte si preoccupa di questo problema e continua, con intervalli di tempo più o meno ravvicinati, a rilasciare nuovi drivers. Oggi tocca alla Logitech che ha rilasciato la nuova versione del WingMan Software, giunto alla release 4.30. Le novità implementate sono:

Installer: Completely re-designed installer. We removed the dependency for the Windows Installer engine (MSI)
Profiler: Added a new feature that allows commands to be grouped together in a "cycle command". This option allows the user to cycle through the list of commands by pressing a single button. The first button press results in execution of the first command in the cycle, the second button press executes the second command...etc....There is a limit of ten commands in a command cycle. A command cycle should not contain a command that has "auto-repeat". If a command has "auto repeat" enabled then the command cycle will reach that point of the cycle and not advance in the cycle
Profiler: Added an option to allow POVs to now have SHIFT functionality. This operates in the same manner as SHIFT functionality for buttons
Profiler: There is now an option to disable the Profiler scan for new games when Profiler is started under "Global Options".
