Una delle gemme nascoste più belle degli Stati Uniti per i piloti su pista, il Willow Springs International Motorsports Park di Rosamond, in California, è un complesso di molteplici percorsi diversi e stimolanti. Preceduto dal Willow Springs Raceway di 2,5 miglia, noto anche come "Big Willow", l'impianto è stato inaugurato nel novembre 1953, rendendolo il più antico percorso stradale permanente in America; nel 1996 è stato anche dichiarato Punto di interesse storico della California.

"Big Willow" presenta impegnativi cambi di quota, curve tecniche e uno degli sfondi più pittoreschi di qualsiasi circuito dell'ovest. Il layout a nove curve inizia con una dura curva a sinistra che esce dal lungo rettifilo, ma presenta anche più curve a destra lunghe e ampie e un complesso complicato che comprende le curve da 3 a 5. La pista ha ospitato di tutto, dalla NASCAR Cup Series negli anni '50 alle gare di resistenza a livello di budget nei tempi moderni. È anche amato dalla comunità delle corse amatoriali per la produzione di corse emozionanti con un layout accessibile ma divertente.
