The world’s most renowned race track is now available on iRacing.com. Home since 1911 to the Indianapolis 500 and since 1994 to the Brickyard 400, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is hallowed ground to auto racing fans the world over. The 3.2 million bricks that once paved the 2.5 mile oval and prompted the nickname of “The Brickyard” may be have been paved over (except for the famed yard of bricks at the start/finish line), but the subtle challenges of its four identically-shaped – but oh so different - turns remains the same as it ever was. As well, the Speedway boasts the 2.6-mile road course used for the U.S. Grand Prix from 2000 to 2007, and recently modified to host the annual U.S. Moto GP. At long last, you have the opportunity to race on virtually the same track as Ray Harroun, Bill Vukovich, A.J. Foyt, Mario Andretti, the Unsers, Rick Mears and Helio Castroneves; Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt, Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson; Jimmy Clark, Graham Hill and Michael Schumacher; Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo.
