With regards to the PC version, Games for Windows Live has a mixed reputation. What are the advantages of using it over other systems such as Steamworks?
First of all, actually just doing a PC build is something I think most developers are shying away from now. Multi-format these days is usually just two consoles, but we really wanted a PC build out there. If you are doing an F1 game, it's really a shame if PC owners can't get a hold of it because they are so used to the Geoff Crammond games, which are the titles that we grew up with. There're lots of people who will say, as we're making a PC version, 'what about dedicated servers?' or 'what about Steam support?' Well, we'd love to do that if we were just making a PC game, but the PC for us had to be alongside the other systems.
