In una recente intervista Peter Moore ha rivelato che la Electronic Arts ha in pratica abbandonato il marchio Nascar, che pur possedeva come diritti: attualmente non sono in sviluppo e neppure sono previsti titoli dedicati alla serie americana delle stock cars, cosa assai strana, visto che in america la Nascar è in assoluto la serie su 4 ruote più popolare e seguita.
