Mentre si infiamma il dibattito sul forum dedicato al nuovo F1 2010, i responsabili della Codemasters iniziano già a parlare del futuro della licenza F1: il prossimo F1 2011 è già in fase di sviluppo (la licenza per il 2012 è in discussione invece) e porterà con sè ovviamente interessanti novità, come la Safety Car attualmente assente, ma da oggi si parla anche di possibili contenuti extra da scaricare (i famosi DLC), come tracciati e vetture del passato... "One of the things, for example, we would love to do as DLC would be classic tracks or classic cars. I'd love to do that... Bit of a licensing nightmare, we're stretched to breaking point anyway trying to get this main game out and we're deving up to the final few days of submission, which you should never really do. But we were eager to get everything we could into this extra game. There was no way we could do extra stuff for DLC... Maybe, if the game takes off this year, we'd consider doing it in the future, I'd love nothing more than DLC."
