Il portale di SimRacing World ha pubblicato un ottimo articolo di confronto fra il nuovo F1 Challenge '99-'02 della EA Sports ed il Grand Prix 4 di Geoff Crammond, ecco una parte delle conclusioni finali:
If you're looking for a game that can outlive a Duracell battery, F1Challenge is probably your best bet. F1 2002 was remarkably editable, as was competently shown by the GTR 2002 Mod as well as a host of others. F1C has been made extra modable. The developers have even added features allowing handbrakes, brake lights and night day cycles. F1C is similar to F1 2002 in it's structure, so tracks and vehicles are already being converted. There are already some F1C specific mods under construction, including TDG's 1994 Mod and SBDT's F1 1977 Mod....
Both games have a lot to offer. Both are the last in their respective series and both, in my opinion, classify as sims. Which is best? I don't know! Which is most realistic. I don't know! I like them both, and I advise anyone who can afford it to buy them both. Each game has strong points where the other has weaknesses. Hopefully though, I've given a good idea of how they compare.
