Like its UI, the engine sounds in nKPro are just enough to do the job well. The engine sounds clearly indicate when gear shifts are necessary. Turn up the volume and the sounds don’t turn into a mush of synthetic noise. nKPro tire sounds excel at communicating changing levels of grip. nKPro sounds lack the multi layered feel of rFactor 2 for example – the whine of the transmission, and related mechanical noises. The canned rumble strip track surface sound isn’t great but not as bad as others.
