Il publisher 505 Games e lo sviluppatore KUNOS Simulazioni annunciano che Assetto Corsa EVO, l'ultima evoluzione della celebre serie Assetto Corsa, attualmente disponibile su Steam in Accesso Anticipato, riceve oggi un nuovo aggiornamento (v. 0.6) che espande la simulazione con nuovi contenuti e miglioramenti mirati alla guida, alle competizioni e alle fondamenta tecniche del gioco.
Mentre il progetto continua a evolversi grazie al supporto della sua community, questo aggiornamento pone ulteriore enfasi sui sistemi che influenzano più direttamente ciò che accade dietro al volante. L'aggiornamento aggiunge sei nuove vetture — che spaziano da bolidi GT a icone stradali — e introduce il Sebring International Raceway, uno dei circuiti più riconoscibili e impegnativi del motorsport americano.
Oltre ai nuovi contenuti, questo aggiornamento rappresenta un significativo passo avanti per Assetto Corsa EVO, concentrandosi sui sistemi che definiscono la qualità della guida, l'agonismo nelle competizioni e, in ultimo, la profondità complessiva della simulazione.
Le nuove caratteristiche includono una modellazione delle sospensioni ancora piu realistica, un comportamento più stabile delle collisioni nel multiplayer, un comparto audio migliorato e il supporto ufficiale alla telemetria MoTeC tramite uno stack di memoria condivisa aggiornato.
L'esperienza utente è stata migliorata grazie a un flusso di selezione delle vetture riprogettato e a una revisione della pagina relativa alle impostazioni dei controlli; inoltre, ulteriori ottimizzazioni dell’IA, della fisica, del gameplay e delle prestazioni portano avanti l’evoluzione del progetto, guidata dalla community, verso una piattaforma racing solida e pensata per il lungo termine.

Miglioramenti principali
Modellazione delle sospensioni migliorata: Assetto Corsa EVO 0.6 segna un significativo passo avanti nella simulazione delle sospensioni, con miglioramenti che includono i sistemi multilink, la direzione dei coilovers, i calcoli del centro di rollio e di beccheggio, il comportamento dei finecorsa e un funzionamento degli ammortizzatori aggiornato. Questi cambiamenti migliorano la comunicazione dei trasferimenti di carico, il realismo meccanico e la risposta complessiva di tutte le vetture nel gioco.
