    • Free camera is now functional in the paintshop (showroom) in the release build, together with the FOV modifier input that allows the FOV to be changed in free camera (modifier+scroll)

    We are still actively working on a fix to the loading times
    Note: the new location of the ACE folder is in Saved Games as per Microsoft's recommendation

    - Documents/ACE will now migrate to -> Saved Games/ACE as per Microsoft standard recommendation existing settings files will transfer upon the first launch, this should fix issues where OneDrive and other similar applications could hold the game configuration files hostage when running out of space or when they change file read/write rules
    NOTE: logs will now be located in the Save Games/ACE folder as well!
    - fix for tyres sinking below ground when approaching the edge of track slowly

    Il publisher 505 Games e lo sviluppatore KUNOS Simulazioni sono lieti di annunciare che Assetto Corsa EVO, attualmente disponibile su Steam in Accesso anticipato, riceve oggi il suo quinto aggiornamento (v. 0.5) che introduce nuovi contenuti, nuovi modi per catturare l’esperienza di guida e importanti miglioramenti “sotto il cofano”. Questi aggiornamenti avvicinano Assetto Corsa EVO alla visione a lungo termine sviluppata da KUNOS Simulazioni insieme alla community durante questo primo anno di programma Early Access.

    L’aggiornamento introduce 7 nuove vetture e amplia il parco tracciati includendo Watkins Glen International e il Circuit Paul Ricard in diversi layout. Ogni tracciato è stato realizzato con il livello di dettaglio tipico di KUNOS basandosi su rilievi laser scan effettuati nei circuiti reali. Debutta inoltre una funzionalità molto richiesta: la prima iterazione della modalità Free Camera, pensata per l’esplorazione cinematografica, replay avanzati e creazione di contenuti, con ulteriori funzionalità previste nei prossimi aggiornamenti.

    Nuove Auto

    Il nuovo aggiornamento 0.5 amplia il roster delle vetture con una selezione eterogenea di veicoli, offrendo nuovi stili di guida e nuove sfide:

    • Audi Sport Quattro (1983)
    • BMW M2
    • Caterham Seven 485 CSR Final Edition
    • Toyota AE86 + Versione Tuned
    • Volkswagen Golf Mk1
    • Dallara EXP
    • Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992)

    Nuovi Tracciati

    Due circuiti iconici entrano a far parte di Assetto Corsa EVO, ciascuno con più layout che arricchiscono le esperienze single player e multiplayer, incluse le Daily Racing e il portale web di AC EVO dove i giocatori possono sfidarsi tra loro:

    • Watkins Glen International (4 layout)
    • Circuit Paul Ricard (4 layout)

    Miglioramenti Principali

    Modalità Free Camera (prima iterazione): Permette di esplorare auto, ambienti e azione da nuove angolazioni. Gli utenti possono ora rivivere i propri momenti migliori tramite i replay e catturare screenshot o video delle loro azioni più spettacolari utilizzando strumenti esterni. In questa fase non sono ancora incluse funzionalità dedicate alla modalità foto ma vi saranno ulteriori evoluzioni nei prossimi aggiornamenti, vista la sua importanza centrale per la community.

    Aggiornamento DLSS 4.5: Questo update introduce DLSS 4.5, migliorando sia la scalabilità delle prestazioni sia la qualità dell’immagine su una gamma più ampia di configurazioni hardware. Questo rappresenta un ulteriore passo nello sforzo a lungo termine del team per costruire un framework di simulazione capace di evolversi insieme al progetto, garantendo il miglior rapporto possibile tra qualità e prestazioni man mano che Assetto Corsa EVO continua a crescere.

    Diversi miglioramenti al gameplay tra cui: logica dei limiti di pista, comportamento delle bandiere blu, interfaccia utente, ottimizzazione della memoria condivisa e i primi miglioramenti applicati al sistema Dynamic Track.

    Assetto Corsa EVO è attualmente disponibile su Steam in Accesso Anticipato al prezzo di €39.99. I giocatori possono acquistare anche uno speciale bundle su Steam che include Assetto Corsa EVO e Assetto Corsa Rally con un ulteriore sconto complessivo del 10%.

    - gain-based track cut logic: when cutting, there's a gain evaluation, if there is no gain, there is no warning, if there is a gain, the player has 500 metres to give up the gain, if this fails, the player is given a warning/time penalty/DT/SG/DSQ depending on the severity of the remaining unserved time gain, a widget helps the player determine whether time is being given up or not
    - fixed crash when restarting certain special events
    - next step of SimGrid daily racing: car selection is now based on mechanical variants, customized player cars are also checked for eligibility in place of the previous direct join, the connection flow has been shifted back to the ingame server browser so that players can choose their preferred visual configuration or livery
    - fixed a car customization logic issue that allowed self-exclusive optional items to overlap in some cases
    - fix for ability to start and finish timed lap in session overtime
    - fixed a bug in AI fuel estimation
    - added possibility to deviate from the global track limit rules on a per corner basis the target is to have more natural feeling track limits and not penalizing players where they already lose time by stretching the limits (e.g. gravel traps on corner exits)
