I Papyrus hanno deciso che questa volta fanno sul serio e danno la possibilità alla comunità di modders di stravolgere il proprio titolo. Infatti, da quanto è apparso sul sito del Project Wildfire, sarà disponibile un mod dedicato alla serie Trans Am, che sarà rilasciato nei prossimi mesi, subito dopo l'uscita della patch ufficiale targata Papyrus:

Papyrus added Trans Am type physics to the NR2003S platform so we'll be releasing that Mod sometime this summer. Our goal is to have a beta version of the mod released just shortly after the GNS mod is released. This beta version will let you unlock the physics of the Trans AM mod but will only come with the Cup car model and setups for the road courses. The final version of the mod will include various Trans AM series car models such as the Corvette, realistic damage modeling, play balanced AI, everything we've done for both the GNS and CTS mod's... What's different about the Trans AM physics? Just about everything including a 6 speed gearbox. Yup, you heard right, 6 gearss! While the physics have been totally revamped, other than the two addtional gears, we'll still be working with the same options in the garage as we have now. Ever wanna do a sub 70 second lap at Infineon? If you like road racing, you'll love this, even if you don't like road racing, you will now!
