La notizia è senza dubbio inusuale: il famoso simracing team Redline, una delle "scuderie virtuali" più forti del mondo videoludico, che annovera fra le file dei suoi piloti personaggi ben noti come Greger "Alien" Huttu e l'italiano Enzo Bonito, ha annunciato che da oggi vestirà i propri colori nientemeno che Max Verstappen, pilota 17enne della Toro Rosso in Formula 1. Il ragazzo terribile olandese è infatti appassionato da sempre di simulazione di guida, che utilizzerà ovviamente anche come allenamento intensivo. Commenti sul forum.
Great news for us again!! Dutch Superstar Max Verstappen has joined us, after an incredible rise in real racing, Max joins us to practise and remain at the top of his game.
Max later said, "I enjoy simracing outside of Formula 1. Ive been working with Atze for a while already and of course with Team Redline and Fanatec I'll be sharing the virtual track with the fastest simracers in the world which is a great test and the way I like it!"
Team manager Atze was equally pleased, "I'm happy and honoured to have Max onboard at Team Redline! Looking forward to continue our sim battles like we did in the F3 last year."
