The F1RST3 client is a great piece of software, lobby program. F1RST3 has its own lobby system,
league system, member system, championship system, file and memory cheat protection, etc. All automated !
There is nothing comparable to F1RST3 in the race community, so check it out!

We had numerous internal team meetings and conversations about our future.
F1RST3 always supported all Mods and Tracks. Due to the frequent and many updates, fixes and betas it
became a burden for us to keep everything up-to-date with its correct version. Many of these Mods
and Tracks were not used by the f1rst3 community to race on.
Therefore we have decided to cut down on these Mods and Tracks and remove them from the client.
This way we have more time and can focus more on improving all the services concerning our leagues
and special events.
What will happen now ?
All the Mods and Tracks that are not used for an active league or special event will be removed from the
F1RST3 client. For F1 Challenge, F1 1999,2000,2001,2002,RH2003,RH2004,RH2005 will stay in, including
support for all F1 Challenge tracks. For rFactor, only the Mods and Tracks that are used in an active league
or upcoming special events are supported.
Now some other good news !
By no longer including each and every Mod and Track, we can manage and optimize the support a lot more
for the Mods and Tracks that we include for the leagues and special events.
In client update 3.296 we have enabled Auto Download again for the RH2005 and rFactor
league and special event tracks. Now you can create or join a room and the track will automatically
download and install itself. No more manual trouble having to install all of your tracks manually as f1rst3
takes care of it !
Now some more good news !
We have developed a new dedicated league system for rFactor. Until now we have run heats in which one
of the heat participants had to host. For F1 challenge up to 6 and rFactor up to 10 people per heat. Everyone
was divided into 3 timezones. That league system is replaced now for rFactor leagues by a new dedicated
league system.
This new system will have heats up to 30 people per heat, both for amateur and expert. The qualification
system remains the same, once the qualification deadline is passed these heats will automatically be
generated. A dedicated server host is assigned to your heat. On a static race time, e.g. Saturday 20.00 CET
the dedicated server will launch and you can drive your league heat race with 30 other people. These
heat servers will be launched in a time sequence starting with the first heat to the last one. This will all
be explained before the league starts in the league forum by the league admin !
The power of this new system is an automated dedicated league system that isn't limited to a full room !
E.g, 300 people can compete in a league and all are divided into 10 automated dedicated heats of 30 people.
There is no such league type in the race community, so feel free to invite all your race friends to our
leagues !
The coming Winter leagues
This winter, starting right now, we will have two major leagues. First for F1 Challenge we will run the RH2005
league consisting of 5 rounds. It's unbelievable, but RH2005 is still very popular, especially with the lack of an
F1 Mod on rFactor that could eliminate RH2005. We would like to invite you to our great RH2005 league and
meet around 100 other participants!

Second, for rFactor we will kick off a V8Factor league, a Mod covering the very popular Australian V8 Series.
This league will consist of 8 rounds, scheduled in 10 weeks. The new dedicated league system will be
used for this league which means heats up to 30 people ! We have decided to reverse the qualification grids for the race
to increase the chances of slower drivers and to increase the action and excitement on track! This league
is going to be smashing. Again, feel free to invite all of your friends to have a taste of our fully automated
great new league system!

For December's Special Christmas Event, it's time to race a real drivers car, the Alfa Romeo 147. Moreover, what a
better place to race these Front Wheeled brutes than at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course.
Special Event 15, Christmas Lupo, 27 December 2006,
The Popular and exciting Lupo Cup is back for a one off Christmas event where the format will consist of heats
and a final. The event is planned for the evening of December 27th (tbc) and will run on the f1rst3 dedicated server.
