       (0 reviews)

Already featuring the largest track roster of any recent racing game, Project CARS will continue to dominate with an additional 12 unique locations consisting of road tracks, historic locations, modern circuits, and ovals.
Grouped into Track Expansion Packs along with appropriate vehicles, players will therefore get access to the most iconic, beautiful, and contemporary locations throughout the year that continue to represent a truly global snapshot of racing around the world.
The first Track Expansion includes New Zealand's premier motor racing circuit - Ruapuna Pack International Raceway and three iconic and highly-successful cars from Audi...

    RUAPUNA PARK INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

Formally known as Powerbuilt Raceway, Ruapuna Park International Raceway is New Zealand's premier motor racing facility, located 13 kilometers west of Christchurch, New Zealand.
Hosting some of New Zealand's most exciting racing events, including the prestigious Lady Wigram Trophy and an annual round of the New Zealand V8s series, the track's main 3.3 kilometer layout runs in an anti-clockwise direction and its challenging layout incorporates many fast sweeping corners that reward smooth and precise drivers.

    AUDI R18 E-TRON QUATTRO
In 2014, the Le Mans prototype rules changed again and Audi elected to evolve their successful R18 into a new high-tech hybrid showcase. Using their e-tron electric motors to provide quattro four-wheel-drive above 120km/h, the 2014 R18 has also featured multiple energy recovery systems. A weighted flywheel is used to store energy as momentum, while Audi also evaluated a system to recover energy from the turbocharger.

    AUDI R8 LMP900
One of the most successful racing sports cars in its class, the Audi R8 LMP900 won the 24 Hours of Le Mans five of the six years it competed and the American Le Mans Series six times in a row.
With a top speed of 338km/h generated by over 600 horsepower from a 3.6l L Audi FSI V8, the light carbon fibre structure covered a modular, easy-access chassis that allowed expedited changes to be made to the internals of the car during races.
Nowadays, the R8 LMP900 remains one of the fastest petrol-powered LMPs with a 3:29 at Le Mans.

    1989 AUDI 90 IMSA GTO
After their rally success with their quattro all-wheel-drive system, Audi turned to track racing in the late 1980s. They won their debut production-based championship in America in 1988, but the series quickly outlawed quattro. For 1989 they turned to the GTO championship, which featured tube-framed monsters that were only required to resemble the roadcar in silhouette. With their rally-proven turbocharged inline-5 engine combined with quattro, the Audi 90 GTO produced incredible power figures yet had enough grip to put it all down even in wet conditions. Despite missing the first two races of the season during development, the 90 won six of the last nine races, and managed a very close second place in the championship. For 1990, they decided to focus on the German championship and the 90 GTO was retired, but not before becoming an icon.
