One of the many street circuits that sprang up in Italy during the 30´s, this one was laid out in Sempione Park, right in the centre of Milano, and comprised 8 corners, two of wich was hairpins. It was shortened slightly for the 1937 race and the modifications made it quite bit a faster than the previous year. Auto Union under-standably entered a car for Achille Varzi in 1936, but why they sent one for Rudolf Hasse in 1937 remain a puzzle.
