E' disponibile per il Grand Prix 4 di Geoff Crammond la nuova release 3.56 dell'imperdibile utility GPxPatch, che aggiunge notevoli extra e funzionalità al gioco originale; questa la lista delle novità presenti in questa versione:
GPxLap: logging minimum and maximum speed each lap. GPxLap: logging GP4Tweaker's tyre grip against surface modifier into the init checksum. GPxLap: added an option to fix the GP4 pitstop bug. GPxCInfo: added filter option to show only when gpxsat is showing or not showing. GPxCInfo: fix: best lap time item now shows '.' instead of ':' in time difference. Advanced: added option to run GPx on a specific processor (key CPU under [Debug] section in gpxpatch.ini).-
