Il mese di Agosto è stato un mese importante per AMS2: oltre a tutti gli update e ai miglioramenti il nuovo simulatore ha visto l'arrivo di contenuti magnifici, come Silverstone, la Lotus 49C, la Brabham BT26A e la McLaren MP4/12. Reiza però non si preoccupa solo di rilasciare nuove auto e nuove piste, ma vuole curare anche ciò che è già nel simulatore. Nell'ultimo mese Spielberg ha ricevuto un aggiornamento visivo, e molti "vecchi contenuti" riceveranno lo stesso trattamento. Il team ha anche cominciato a lavorare al sistema di danni, che comprende graffi, sporco, parti deformabili e che possono staccarsi. Al momento solo le Ginetta e le Stock Car 2020 hanno questo sistema, ma con il prossimo aggiornamento il team spera di poter aggiungere questo sistema di danni a tutte le auto. Anche il VR sta per ricevere aggiornamenti: il team è infatti al lavoro per aggiungere delle particolari telecamere per chi vuole guardare replay o assistere ad una gara online in VR. Si tratta di camere poste sugli spalti o nei punti dove si trovano i marshall che aumenteranno l'immersione e il realismo. Ecco un video che mostra come funzioneranno queste telecamere Reiza ha fornito anche un'insolita bacheca relativa agli aggiornamenti e ai miglioramenti ai quali stanno lavorando, promettendo che ad ogni aggiornamento mensile il simulatore presenterà miglioramenti dal punto di vista del gameplay, della grafica e del sonoro Infine il team vuole prendersi uno spazio in questo development update per ringraziare Slightly Mad Studios per il loro contributo nella realizzazione di Automobilista 2, non solo per aver fornito il motore di gioco, ma soprattutto per aver fornito più di un anno di supporto, senza ulteriori costi per aiutare Reiza ad ottenere il massimo dal Madness Engine E anche per questo mese è tutto. Come si nota dalle immagini, avremo a disposizione interessanti novità, come BMW M3 E30, Lotus 23, Mini Cooper 1965 ed altro ancora, il tutto gratuitamente. The update is now scheduled to go live on Friday October 2nd. Our regular Monthly Development Update (usually published on the final day of the month) is likewise slightly delayed and will be published on October 5th. L'aggiornamento porta con sè numerose vetture "classiche", la cattivissima e divertentissima Mini Challenge, due nuovi kartodromi e la solita manciata di migliorie e bugfix. The new update adds several Classic cars, brings the popular Mini Challenge JCW as it is in the top class of the UK Mini series, two Kart circuits, along the usual package of new features, fixes & improvements. One of these features is the initial revision of the HEAD MOVEMENT setting for cockpit cameras (renaming what was before "WORLD MOVEMENT"), although users will still have the option to use the original legacy head movement if they so prefer - please check the descriptions in-game for more details as to how best configure this option to your preference.
