- Project Carmen, a graphics mod by GTAce -

What is "Project CARMEN"?
- Project CARMEN is a graphics mod, containing several different files,
which change the look of the game.

What exactly is included in the mod?
- A post-processing filter, a SweetFX setting and .ini files,
altering colour, contrast, brightness, sharpness and much more.
- Ben Lee's amazing cloud textures, which he allowed me to use.
- Custom smoke/particle effects on and off-track.
- Plus some tweaks, to make the weather appear like overcast.

Is there a performance hit?
- Slightly, yes, although I made the smoke effects so, that they're not affecting the performance too much. I couldn't test with different hardware configurations, so results may vary.

Do I have to use the SweetFX setting and PP filter?
- Yes, otherwise the look will be much different.

How do I install the mod?
- Please read the ReadMe file.

What if I like other filters and tweaks more?
- Uninstalling instructions are included in the ReadMe file.
The mod also includes a backup of the original files.

So how does it look like in action?
- Well, try it for yourself, or watch the releasetrailer first!

Hi!

I just subscribed to this forum for your mod. Very nice looking. Though I have a problem. At around noon everything is so bright that I cannot see anything. If I switch time to 18:00 everything seems to be fine. Is there a tweak I can make to the files? Sorry, but I am not too familiar with graphics mods.

 

I only copied the main files, no overcast, into my assetto corsa folder.

 

Anyways, very nice work. Really appreciate the effort. And if there is no tweak, I will still keep using your mod, just at a later time only ;-)
