Alessandro Pollini
File Name: Spec and SuperCharged Miatas File Submitter: Alessandro Pollini File Submitted: 30 Aug 2014 File Category: Cover Wheel Mod Author : PlickBadgerv1.3 to v1.32 changelog mirror LOD fixed for non-max viewing - black line issue gauges color darkened gauges viewable externally cockpit leather texture fixed headlights no longer flicker lods on wheels fixed minor graphic glitches cleaned up The only physics update is a reduction in the abruptness of engine braking. This should make the car a little more stable when downshifting, braking, etc.All of the interior and wheel graphics were redone by MikeeCZ - I can't thank him enough for patiently working with me to make this mod more visually worthy of rFactor2. He really is a very talented artist. Thank you MikeeCZ!!! Please be aware that the default shifting option is H-Pattern with Clutch. If you don't have a clutch or an H-Pattern shifter, please choose the Paddle Shifter option in tuning. If you choose the H-Pattern option, you will have to make good shiftsDriving TipBe patient with your entry speed! This is the critical mistake that SM drivers make. You can carry tons of speed through turns, but you have to get the entry speed right. If you come in too hot, lift a little and preemptively counter steer.. you can save it to a point I recommend the following FFB settings:G25/27:Car Specific FFB MULT = 1.24FFB Smoothing = 4Steering torque minimum="0.08000"T500Car Specific FFB MULT = 1.00FFB Smoothing = 0Steering torque minimum="0.03000"I recommend setting your engine volume to 35%. Spec Miatas are LOUD. Setting the this to 35% is effectively the same as wearing ear plugs, plus you'll be able to use TS or Vent and hear the spotter.Paint TemplateHere's the deal with coloring the other parts of the carMaterials are mapped as suchWCExtra0="Interior"WCExtra1="Floor"WCExtra2="Rims"WCExtra3="Cage"use SM_INT.psd to create the following filesSM##Interior.ddsSM##Rims.ddsSM##Cage.ddsuse SM_Floor.psd to createSM##Floor.ddsYou can also use the WCWINDSHIELDIN.psd and WCWINDSHIELDOUT.psd to make custom windshieldsSM##WCWINDSHIELDIN.ddsSM##WCWINDSHIELDOUT.dds Click here to download this file
