<p>
	Dopo <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/home-page/software/f1-manager-2022-frontier-ci-ripensa-le-patch-continueranno-r28306/" rel="">aver fatto un passo indietro</a> </strong>circa la fine del supporto post-lancio, gli sviluppatori di F1 Manager 2022 hanno finalmente rilasciato un nuovo aggiornamento per il loro manageriale dedicato al Circus. Nell'aggiornamento 1.10 come preannunciato il team ha aggiornato i modelli 3D delle vetture e le loro livree e ha sistemato alcuni problemi relativi al calcolo e al consumo di carburante in determinati momenti del weekend di gara.
</p>

<p>
	Frontier ha inoltre confermato che il team ha fatto dei progressi per quanto riguarda i problemi del DRS e della Safety Car, due dei temi più caldi sollevati dai giocatori, e punta a rilasciare un aggiornamento che risolva entrambi i problemi entro la fine dell'anno.

</p>

<p>
	Electronic Arts ha posto fine allo sviluppo di Project CARS: “Oggi abbiamo annunciato internamente un aggiornamento al nostro portafoglio. A seguito di una valutazione del prossimo titolo di Project CARS e del suo potenziale di crescita a lungo termine, abbiamo deciso di interrompere ulteriori sviluppi e investimenti per il franchise ", ha affermato un portavoce. "Ci stiamo concentrando sui nostri punti di forza nel nostro portafoglio di titoli di corse, in particolare IP con licenza e esperienze open world, e ampliando i nostri franchise per essere più socialmente guidati con servizi live a lungo termine che coinvolgeranno le comunità globali. Stiamo lavorando con tutti coloro che sono stati colpiti da questa decisione per inserirli in ruoli adeguati nel nostro portafoglio di sport e corse di EA, nonché in altre parti di EA, ovunque possibile".
</p>

<p>
	La serie "Project CARS" è stata creata da Slightly Mad Studios, con il primo titolo lanciato nel 2015 dopo un periodo di crowdfunding. Poi è stata la volta di un sequel due anni dopo che presentava rallycross e guida sul ghiaccio su un'evoluzione del motore di gioco proprietario Madness. Entrambi i giochi sono stati recentemente rimossi dalla vendita.
</p>

<p>
	E' seguito un periodo tumultuoso in cui lo studio londinese lottava con Project CARS 3 e Fast &amp; Furious Crossroads. Il primo si è allontanato dalla natura simulativa che la base di fan si aspettava, prendendo i sistemi di progressione da Driveclub, declassando la grafica e rimuovendo l'usura degli pneumatici e i pitstop. Fast &amp; Furious è stato universalmente stroncato, con un gameplay poco ispirato, un pesante multiplayer online e nella seconda metà, livelli semilavorati ovviamente progettati per estendere l'esperienza in modo economico.
</p>

<p>
	Tuttavia, è stato durante questo periodo che <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/forums/topic/80559-codemasters%C2%AE-si-prende-slightly-mad-studios/" rel="">Codemasters ha acquistato Slightly Mad Studios</a></strong>. Poi, nel febbraio dello scorso anno, EA ha acquistato Codemasters, quindi SMS e Project CARS. Ad ottobre, il suo fondatore, Ian Bell, se n'è andato dall'azienda che lui stesso aveva creato. Nel frattempo però una quarta edizione di Project CARS era in fase di sviluppo ed i fans ricorderanno l'annuncio proprio di Bell: "<strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/forums/topic/84282-ian-bell-ritorna-con-un-tweet-su-project-cars-4/" rel="">Project CARS 4 sarà la simulazione più realistica mai realizzata</a></strong>". Ora sappiamo che PC4 non nascerà mai...
</p>

<p>
	<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/uploads/monthly_2022_11/FhDDVj_WIAAPfPx.jpg.9c36f463fa91852bcbda3deb34415086.jpg" data-fileid="51893" data-fileext="jpg" rel=""><img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="51893" data-ratio="100.00" data-unique="9233tjohg" width="750" alt="FhDDVj_WIAAPfPx.jpg" src="https://www.drivingitalia.net/uploads/monthly_2022_11/FhDDVj_WIAAPfPx.thumb.jpg.d2ae0ad07086d8aab2236675a075c7fa.jpg"></a>
</p>

<p>
	Intanto a settembre scorso Ian Bell ha annunciato di essere al lavoro sul <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/forums/topic/84477-gtr-revival-ian-bell-al-lavoro-per-il-sequel-di-gtr2/" rel="">nuovo GTR Revival</a></strong>, ideale seguito del leggendario GTR2, con un team intitolato ironicamente Mildly Annoyed Games. "Ho deciso di fare il seguito di GTR 2 con il team originale", ha scritto Bell. Slightly Mad Studios è nato infatti originariamente dal titolo per PC del 2006 GTR 2, dove metà del team ha lavorato sotto Blimey, prima di fare Need for Speed: Shift, Shift 2: Unleashed per EA e Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends per Atari. È stato dopo questi progetti che si è dedicato al primo Project CARS.
</p>

<p>
	Il motore di gioco Madness creato da Slightly è ancora concesso in licenza e utilizzato da Reiza Studios per Automobilista 2 per PC. Quindi ricapitolando tutta la telenovela: Project CARS 4 non nascerà più, Automobilista 2 continuerà in qualche modo la tecnologia della serie e i membri del team originale lavoreranno su GTR Revival. Almeno fino al prossimo Tweet di Ian Bell...

<p>
	Anche in Italia abbiamo ormai imparato che Black Friday è sinonimo di grandi sconti. Quest'anno il Black Friday propriamente detto cadrà <strong><a href="https://www.wired.it/article/black-friday-inizio-date-offerte/" rel="external">venerdì 25 novembre</a></strong>, ma i primi sconti ed offerte sono in realtà già partiti da qualche giorno.
</p>

<p>
	In ambito simracing, il primo a lanciare gli "sconti Black Friday" è il simulatore americano iRacing: dirigendovi <strong><a href="https://www.iracing.com/blackfriday/" rel="external">a questa pagina speciale</a></strong>, potrete rinnovare (o riattivare) il vostro abbonamento al software con lo sconto del 25%; se invece siete nuovi utenti, potrete sottoscrivere un nuovo abbonamento con lo sconto del 50%, il che significa che per esempio vi portate a casa DUE anni di iRacing a soli 99,29 euro !
</p>

<p>
	Le offerte sono valide fino al 1 Dicembre prossimo.
</p>

<p>
	Nel ricco pack Q4 2022 c'è anche spazio per la Formula E: l'ultimo DLC annunciato è infatti l'ExCeL London Circuit, che ospita l'E-Prix di Londra.
</p>

<p>
	Il circuito, lungo 2252 metri con 22 curve, è sicuramente unico nel suo genere, grazie al fatto di essere per metà indoor e per metà un normalissimo circuito cittadino.
</p>

<p>
	Si completa così la tornata di annunci per la nuova build, che comprende oltre all'ExCeL London Circuit il <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/home-page/software/rfactor-2-bahrain-international-circuit-in-arrivo-il-7-novembre-r28304/" rel="">Bahrain International Circuit</a></strong>, la <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/home-page/software/rfactor-2-annunciata-la-bmw-330e-m-sport-btcc-r28307/" rel="">BMW 330e M Sport BTCC</a></strong>, la <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/home-page/software/rfactor-2-annunciata-la-vanwall-vandervell-lmh-r28316/" rel="">Vanwall Vandervell LMH</a></strong>, il <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/home-page/software/anche-croft-in-arrivo-su-rfactor-2-il-7-novembre-r28322/" rel="">circuito di Croft</a> </strong>e il <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/home-page/software/rfactor-2-annunciato-il-thruxton-motorsports-center-r28324/" rel="">Thruxton Motorsports Center</a></strong>. Il tutto verrà reso disponibile a partire da lunedì 7 Novembre.

			Hello sim racers!
		</p>

		<p>
			The latest in our line of laserscanned Formula E circuits is about to hit rFactor 2, as we proudly introduce the innovative and very different ExCeL London Circuit.
		</p>

		<p>
			Developed and built by Formula E themselves for use within rFactor 2 – this is truly the ultimate representation of this circuit in sim racing.
		</p>

		<p>
			Having caused quite a stir when the current location made its debut on the Formula E calendar, the ExCeL London Circuit is a perfect mix of drama, excitement, innovation and controversy that Formula E racing thrives upon.
		</p>

		<p>
			Coming in at a surprisingly lengthy 2.252 km and comprising no less than 22 turns, the ExCeL London Circuit runs along the famous Thames waterfront through a series of tight and twisty corner combinations, before dramatically diving into and back out of the ExCeL London arena, a highly unique proposition for drivers to get accustomed to in a top level racing series, and something that we think will provide a unique and rather challenging experience within rFactor 2.

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Continua ad arricchirsi l'offerta british di rFactor 2: dopo la <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/home-page/software/rfactor-2-annunciata-la-bmw-330e-m-sport-btcc-r28307/" rel="">BMW 330e M Sport BTCC</a> </strong>e il <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/home-page/software/anche-croft-in-arrivo-su-rfactor-2-il-7-novembre-r28322/" rel="">circuito di Croft</a> </strong>anche il Thruxton Motorsports Center si unisce alla lista dei contenuti legati al British Touring Car Championship.
</p>

<p>
	Nato anch'esso da un aeroporto dismesso dopo la seconda guerra mondiale nel 1950, negli oltre 70 anni della sua storia il tracciato è cambiato molto poco, diventando quindi un'icona di un'era che non c'è più del motorsport. Apparentemente semplice, il circuito nasconde invece molte insidie trattandosi di una pista estremamente veloce, dove è importante non scomporsi e non alzare troppo il piede per strappare il tempo più veloce in sessione.
</p>

<p>
	Anche il Thruxton Motorsports Center è parte del pack Q4 2022 che verrà rilasciato il 7 Novembre, e sembra non essere l'ultimo annuncio, con un'ultima sorpresa in serbo per domani...

		<p>
			Thruxton is coming to rFactor 2 this November, as we are proudly welcome the most dramatic and high speed racing venue in the United Kingdom.
		</p>

		<p>
			Opened in 1950 utilizing one of the many former World War 2 airfields left over at the conclusion of hostilities, little has changed at the Hampshire venue in the following 70 years, making Thruxton a true testament to a bygone age of motorsport in the country, and with it providing one of the most thrilling and potentially dangerous active race circuits in the UK.

<p>
	Continua la carrellata di annunci in casa Studio 397: protagonista odierno è il circuito di Croft, situato nel North Yorkshire in Gran Bretagna. Uno dei pilastri del BTCC, nella sua storia ha ospitato ogni genere di gare, dalle due alle quattro ruote. Con 16 curve è capace di offrire battaglie ravvicinate a prescindere dalla categoria ed è un circuito molto tecnico, dove la precisione e l'accuratezza dei piloti fanno la differenza.

			Hello sim racers,
		</p>

		<p>
			The Croft Circuit is coming to rFactor 2!
		</p>

		<p>
			Expanding our offering of British racing venues within the simulation, the Croft Circuit in North Yorkshire is the latest addition to our collection of high quality, ultra detailed and laserscanned circuits for rFactor 2. A mainstay of the British Touring Car Championship schedule, as well as home to numerous high profile two and four wheeled championships throughout its time, Croft is a real driver circuit, where accuracy, commitment and driving skill are the differentiators between those who complete the lap, and those who can extract the maximum time the circuit has to offer.
		</p>

		<p>
			Running to a total of 16 corners, the layout at Croft often produces incredibly close racing regardless of the type of car competing. A mix of high speed turns and commitment heavy sections, right alongside technical complex segments and heavy braking zones, all lead to a circuit layout that is universally loved by both drivers and fans alike.

	<strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/forums/topic/84514-raceroom-arrivano-i-camion-da-competizione/#comment-927603" rel="">Come già sappiamo</a></strong>, sono in arrivo per RaceRoom Racing Experience i nuovi Trucks da competizione. I possenti camion da corsa sono stati sviluppati nel software con la collaborazione del vero pilota di camion Sascha Lenz, per offrire l'esperienza di corsa più realistica possibile. I trucks sono dotati di freni raffreddati ad acqua e cambio a 16 velocità accuratamente simulato.

<p>
	Nuovo annuncio in casa Studio 397, ma contrariamente ai giorni precedenti questa volta non si tratta di una nuova auto o di un nuovo circuito in arrivo. Oggi lo studio olandese si concentra su una delle migliorie strutturali in arrivo con la build che verrà rilasciata il 7 Novembre.
</p>

<p>
	Stiamo parlando dei miglioramenti apportati all'intelligenza artificiale, già testabili con la release candidate. Con la nuova build Studio 397 ha risolto alcuni annosi problemi che il gioco si trascinava da anni, come ad esempio la tendenza dell'IA ad usare acceleratore e freno come se fossero due "interruttori". Il team ha inoltre reso più realistici gli input al volante e ha migliorato la capacità di stare sulla superficie di guida dell'intelligenza artificiale.
</p>

<p>
	Oltre a queste migliorie tangibili il team si è occupato di fare pulizia nel codice di gioco, eliminando alcune delle complessità storiche dell'IA e portando alcune ottimizzazioni, realizzando così un'ottima base sulla quale lavorare in futuro.
</p>

<p>
	La build Q4 2022 verrà rilasciata tra una settimana, il 7 Novembre con l'introduzione del <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/home-page/software/rfactor-2-bahrain-international-circuit-in-arrivo-il-7-novembre-r28304/" rel="">Bahrain International Circuit</a></strong>, e di due nuove vetture: <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/home-page/software/rfactor-2-annunciata-la-bmw-330e-m-sport-btcc-r28307/" rel="">BMW 330e M Sport BTCC</a> </strong>e <strong><a href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/home-page/software/rfactor-2-annunciata-la-vanwall-vandervell-lmh-r28316/" rel="">Vanwall Vandervell LMH</a>.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	Inoltre è stata appena rilasciata una nuova patch hotfix per correggere una lunga lista di bug e problemini vari, di cui trovate <strong><a href="https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads%2Foctober-hotfix-3-now-available-02-11-2022.72956%2F&amp;fbclid=IwAR1EQnfFi6l5_ieSdOCNzuhZiMRicCruz55zbP1UBLTsnjilFnzQI15feTs" rel="external">dettaglio a questo link</a></strong>.

			Hello sim racers,
		</p>

		<p>
			Now it’s time to switch things up a little, from talking about new content coming to rFactor 2 this November, to new code that will make that content all the more enjoyable in an offline environment – that’s right, for the Q4 2022 build update of rFactor 2 we’ve been working on the AI behaviour in the simulation – throttle and brake blipping be gone!
		</p>

		<p>
			Yes, we admit this has been a little while in the making here in rFactor 2 land, but now we are absolutely delighted to be able to bring a substantial improvement to the way the AI responds in game – from more controlled and believable behaviour on the track, to the abolishment of the frustrating on and off throttle pedal control – literally a game changing fix and improvement to the core offline racing experience!
		</p>

		<ul>
			<li>
				Eradicated erratic throttle and brake behaviour.
			</li>
			<li>
				Smoothed out steering inputs and car control.
			</li>
			<li>
				Improved AI ability to adhere to racing surface and avoid unnecessary off track excursions and spins.
			</li>
		</ul>

		<p>
			These changes have been rolled out globally across the simulation, so expect the improvements to be seen and felt immediately when playing against the AI, regardless of content type. With these changes, the AI should now offer a much more balanced and realistic racing experience, helping to not only remove the previously mentioned behaviour problems, but properly put the AI experience in rFactor 2 back on track again (no pun intended) as we continue to push the simulation forwards. Aside from the obvious improvements highlighted above, this development exercise has also allowed us the opportunity to go digging around in the previous AI code, and perform a significant amount of code cleaning and optimizing, helping us to untangle some of the historic complexities of how AI has been implemented in rFactor 2, and giving us a much stronger base on which to work from going forwards.
