Sul palco dell'Xbox Games Showcase 2023 non poteva mancare Forza Motorsport: un nuovo gameplay trailer ha preannunciato la data di uscita su Xbox Series X|S e PC. Il lancio del gioco è fissato per il 10 ottobre 2023.

Come promesso da Turn 10, il trailer di oggi mostra in azione anche la Cadillac Racing V-Series.R del 2023 e la Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray del 2024, i due bolidi della boxart ufficiale del gioco. Nel prossimo Forza Monthly del 13 giugno 2023, verrà offerta una panoramica completa della carriera per giocatore singolo.

Reiza Studios ha appena rilasciato in versione definitiva la nuova build V1.4.8.1 del suo Automobilista 2.

La versione aggiornata del simulatore ci mette a disposizione tre interessanti novità, ovvero il Circuito de Barcelona-Catalunya (come DLC, gratuito per tutta la durata del periodo di Release Candidate), la Formula USA 2023 (in versione road, short oval & speedway) e la Formula Junior. Inoltre la build 1.4.8 implementa anche l'attesa nuova versione 1.5 della fisica per numerose vetture, elencate in dettaglio qui di seguito.

Automobilista 2 V1.4.8.1 is now officially released! The update introduces Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya as a new DLC, the F-USA '23 as part of Racin' USA Pt3 and all packages that include it, as well as the F-Junior, a super-fun car free for all owners of the base game.

A new release candidate build of Automobilista 2 is now available as a Steam beta branch for those interested in testing the new update before its official release in the coming days.
AMS2 users can now select the latest release candidate, currently V1.4.7.0 build 2297 - to access this build, right-click Automobilista 2 on your Steam Library, go into Properties -> Beta tab, and select the “ReleaseCandidate” branch for the dropdown menu.

V1.5 PHYSICS REVISIONS
As per the latest dev update, V1.4.8 includes extensive physics revisions to an initial batch of car classes, revisions which are expected to be completed for all cars in the game by the update that follows this one 4-5 weeks from now (v1.5.0).

IMPORTANT: all revised cars MUST have the setup reset - users can do so either by resetting each model individually from their setup menu, or for all cars by deleting your local Documents\Automobilista 2\savegame\123456789\automobilista 2\vehiclesetups folder (please note however this would also delete your existing setups from currently unrevised cars that don´t require the reset yet).

The AI dry performance is supposed to be well calibrated to the player performance for all classes already revised - if you still notice any discrepancies please report the car / track combo along with eventual specific details. Wet weather is still not fully calibrated, with some classes still needing further adjustments both to player tire as well as wet calibration - this we expect to cover in time for official release.

Diverse le novità quest'anno, a partire da una fisica rivista e migliorata, l'aggiunta del meteo dinamico e del flag to flag e una modalità carriera rivista e approfondita in cui ogni scelta che faremo influenzerà l'andamento della nostra carriera. A completare l'offerta abbiamo la possibilità di personalizzazione del pilota e delle moto, il multiplayer con le nuove Gare Classificate e il multiplayer locale con la modalità Schermo Condiviso

F1 Manager 2023 verrà lanciato in digitale il 31 luglio, il giorno dopo il Gran Premio del Belgio. E' già disponibile il pre ordine, che darà ai giocatori l'accesso al nuovo gioco F1 Manager con quattro giorni di anticipo, oltre a 12 scenari aggiuntivi da completare come bonus se dovessero optare per la Deluxe Edition. Il prezzo al dettaglio suggerito per le versioni digitali è £ 44,99 / $ 54,99 / € 54,99 per l'edizione standard, mentre la Deluxe Edition dovrebbe costare £ 54,99 / $ 64,99 / € 64,99 al momento del lancio.

Oltre alla data di rilascio e al prezzo, sono state fornite nuove informazioni sulle modalità scenario del gioco: F1 Manager 2023 presenterà due modalità scenario che metteranno i giocatori al controllo di un team di F1 in scenari che mirano a riprodurre eventi della vita reale ai Gran Premi, con l'aggiunta di nuovi dopo ogni weekend di gara di Formula 1.

Nella modalità Griglia di partenza, i giocatori guidano una squadra attraverso un GP completo utilizzando le posizioni in griglia e le condizioni meteorologiche dell'evento reale. D'altra parte, Race Moments diventa più specifico e sfida i giocatori con specifici scenari in gara per raggiungere un obiettivo entro la fine della gara.

In tutti gli scenari e le altre modalità di gioco, un nuovo modello di pneumatico consente ai giocatori di valutare il rischio: il sistema tiene conto della superficie della pista e delle temperature della carcassa degli pneumatici, prendendo decisioni su quando far spingere i tuoi piloti e quando dire loro di diminuire il ritmo.

L'uscita di F1 23 è ormai vicinissima: il gioco sarà disponibile dal 16 giugno 2023 su PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S e PC, con il supporto alla VR previsto solamente su PC.

Il nuovo titolo Codemasters è disponibile al preordine in due differenti edizioni. Per coloro che preordinano la Standard Edition digitale e fisica di F1 23 sono previsti due bonus preordine: il pacchetto iniziale F1 World e 5000 PitCoin.

Del nuovo modello di guida e fisica vi abbiamo già parlato nella nostra anteprima, inoltre con F1 23 debutta la nuova lunghezza di Gara al 35%, precedentemente vista solo in F1 World. Secondo Codemasters, "rappresenta il giusto compromesso tra gare lunghe e corte, mantenendo comunque le regole che si applicano alle corse complete, come quella del pit stop obbligatorio".

Torna la modalità narrativa Braking Point, che ha debuttato in F1 2021. Quest'anno, il secondo capitolo di Braking Point vede i rivali Devon e Aiden diventare compagni di squadra nella Konnersport Butler Racing Team, la nuova scuderia approdata in Formula 1. La storia copre gli anni 2022 e 2023, presentando nuovi personaggi come la campionessa di Formula 2 Callie Mayer. Non manca neppure F1 World, un hub centrale pensato per introdurre i giocatori al complesso mondo della Formula. Include esperienze per giocatore singolo e multigiocatore, un sistema di progressi condivisi, contenuti giornalieri, settimanali e stagionali, un sistema di livello di licenza rinnovato e tanti modi diversi per giocare.

E' arrivata la Stagione 3 2023 di iRacing! Questa versione contiene sia contenuti che aggiornamenti per la stagione 3 del 2023, che inizia ufficialmente il 12 giugno! L'aggiornamento include tre nuove auto: Cadillac V-Series.R GTP, Ligier JS P320 e Porsche 911 GT3 R (992). iRacing espande anche la sua offerta di piste per includere MotorLand Aragón (7 configurazioni) e Willow Springs International Raceway, oltre a una nuova configurazione 2023 Cup per Chicago Street Course.

La Dirt Taskforce ha completato il proprio lavoro sul progetto Dirt Refresh condiviso con la community a febbraio. Il sistema Spotter ha ricevuto una serie di aggiornamenti incentrati su Race Control e nuove chiamate che ravviveranno le corse e ti terranno meglio informato su ciò che sta accadendo in pista e in gara.

Approccio di nuovi sfidanti: ora avrai la possibilità di aggiungere elenchi di avversari AI alle tue sessioni ospitate che utilizzano il formato Heat Racing! Gli sviluppatori hanno lavorato anche sui tempi di caricamento, e questa versione stagionale include una prima fase di ottimizzazione del caricamento che dovrebbe portarvi al posto di guida un po' più velocemente.

Willow Springs International Raceway è orgogliosa di aprire la strada a un nuovo sistema di fogliame 3D che popola automaticamente l'ambiente con erbe, arbusti e altre creazioni di Madre Natura. USB Audio Hot Swapping è ora completamente abilitato e supportato da iRacing per tutte le tue esigenze di cuffie e altoparlanti. È stata inoltre aggiunta una nuova opzione grafica che controlla la visualizzazione di tutte le ostruzioni dell'abitacolo, in modo specifico per la configurazione dell'auto.

Il nuovo modello di danno è stato messo in pratica su undici auto aggiuntive. E, ultimo ma non meno importante, i piloti AI ora sono attivi in otto nuove auto e ventiquattro nuove configurazioni di pista.

As you may have seen by now, GeneRally 2 launched into Early Access yesterday. We're really happy that people are enjoying playing, and we're actively going through all the feedback (both positive and negative) to see what we need to improve and see areas of friction people are having.
The purpose of this post is to update on a few of the recurring things that came up over the past day or so, and to outline what we'll be working on in the coming days and weeks in response to that!

Collected Feedback
These are some of the things players have told us over the first 24 hours since the game's release - the big ones have their own section below, but we've read every piece of feedback and every comment, and have added them to our player-feedback tracker!

The AI
This is our number one priority at the moment. The AI launched in a state that was less-than-ideal, and a lot of bugs became apparent - particularly in the championship mode - right away.

GeneRally 2's AI is aiming to be smarter and more fun to race against than the average arcade racing game AI (most of which stick solidly to one line, and act like the player doesn't even exist) - however, in our current implementation, the AI are too nervous and too prone to making curious avoidance manoeuvres.
We have today been testing some initial improvements to the AI, aimed to improve their confidence, and their ability to follow the racing line in difficult situations. They should still display the slightly more natural behaviour many of you liked - they'll continue to make mistakes, take different lines in search of speed, etc. but they will do this in a more controlled and sensible fashion.
The update we put out in the next day or two will be an initial step, and we'll continue to improve from there.

The Driving Physics
A big part of GeneRally is the satisfying driving feel - and this is something we want to ensure is present in GeneRally 2. At the moment, particularly for the Formula and General cars, that feeling is sadly lacking. Many users reported those two cars feeling "floaty" and difficult to drive.

Thanks to the detailed feedback from several community members on the GeneRally 2 Discord we have been able to identify some specific issues in the handling of certain cars that caused unintuitive or unpredictable behaviour. Markku is hard at work tweaking the setups, and you can expect improvements coming into existence over the next days.
In addition to this, several people highlighted the engagement of the reverse gear being a significant issue for them in some cars - and this will also be fixed in the near future.

The In-Game UI
The in-game UI is definitely not the final version of the UI. Many areas of the UI are in need of an actual "design pass" to bring them up to a higher quality, and make them more convenient and friendly to use.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be making lots of improvements to the UI - including moving the in-game car status areas to a more friendly location, adding timings and a live-updating set of racing standings.

Other Feedback
There are plenty of other things users gave us feedback about. This is not a complete list of them, but here are some of the more common requests:

• Saved driver presets;
• More colour options for cars;
• Change ghost car to be more translucent, and able to be disabled;
• Track player statistics;
• Add keyboard rebinding;
• Allow the menus to be navigated with keyboard and controllers;
• Increase damage scaling to go past 100%;
• Implement a zoom override;
• Improve camera controls in the Track Editor;
• and more...

Many of these items of feedback will see progress over the coming days and weeks.

What's Next?
Whilst we can't give exact timelines for all of these things, we do want to give you a bit of an idea of where our priorities lie right now.

This Week
We'll be working on more improvements to the AI and physics problems described above. You'll also most likely see some fixes for bugs and the addition of some small quality-of-life improvements for the game and the game UI.

Next Week or Two
We'll bring more improvements to the AI and physics, and start to work on some of the larger high-priority features (like keyboard rebinding and controller-enabled UI). These features might not arrive next week, but we will begin working on them.
We'll also start looking at improving the design and implementation of some of the UI in the game - starting with the in-game UI and the track-selection screen.

After that...
We'll continue on with our plan for Early Access - improving in response to this kind of player feedback, and working on things like Online Multiplayer and GR1 track importing.
You can expect blog-posts from us on the state of development and what we're focussing on - and we'll be adjusting our course and schedule based heavily on player feedback.

Motorsport Games ha finalmente annunciato in maniera ufficiale il videogioco dedicato alla 24 Ore di Le Mans e al World Endurance Championship, che sarà chiamato Le Mans Ultimate.

Atteso per Dicembre 2023, il videogioco è sviluppato da Studio 397, team di sviluppo che si occupa di rFactor 2, e catturerà tutte le emozioni, la velocità e la gloria del più famoso e prestigioso evento di durata del motorsport. 

Il gioco per PC offrirà ovviamente tutte le auto e i circuiti presenti nel calendario 2023 del FIA World Endurance Championship, che ha ovviamente la 24 Ore di Le Mans come gara principale. Faranno quindi la prima apparizione ufficiale in un videogioco le Hypercar di Ferrari, Porsche, Peugeot e Toyota. Il gioco è stato sviluppato usando il motore fisico già presente in rFactor 2 e per la sua componente competitiva si affiderà a RaceControl, un nuovo sistema sviluppato da Motorsport Games per un'esperienza di gioco interattiva. Il multiplayer avrà gare casuali e competitive oltre alla possibilità di creare sessioni private. Ma la vera novità sarà il multiplayer asincrono, grazie al quale i componenti di un team potranno fare i loro stint in una data e un giorno che preferiscono così da superare i vincoli del fuso orario.

Per coloro che attenderanno la 24 Ore di Le Mans in prima persona questo weekend ci sarà la possibilità di provare una build del nuovo gioco: nella Gaming Zone saranno presenti ben 10 simulatori sui quali poter guidare la Porsche 963 o la Ferrari 488 GTE. Ci sarà inoltre una competizione Thrustmaster in cui sarà possibile vincere un T818 in edizione limitata.

L'ultima di una lunga lista di Porsche 911 costruita per le corse auto sportive, l'edizione 992 della Porsche 911 GT3 R segue le orme della GT3 R basata sulla 991 che ha debuttato per la stagione 2019. Si unisce anche all'attuale modello della Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, che ha debuttato nel 2021, come Porsche da corsa basata sulla generazione 992. Nella sua inaugurale stagione IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, cinque squadre - Pfaff Motorsports, MDK Motorsports, Wright Motorsports, AO Racing Team e Kelly-Moss con Riley - hanno tutti portato almeno una 992 in griglia attraverso le divisioni GTD e GTD Pro.

La 911 GT3 R (992) è alimentata da un motore Porsche da 4,2 litri, un passo avanti rispetto alle unità da 4,0 litri della precedente vettura. La sua prima vittoria dell'IMSA è arrivata per mano della squadra GTD Pro di Pfaff di Klaus Bachler, Patrick Pilet e Laurens Vanthoor nella 12 Ore di Sebring 2023, e il duo di Bachler e Pilet l'ha sostenuta il mese successivo con un terzo posto per le strade di Long Beach.
