			Date un occhio all'impressionante tecnologia utilizzata per la fisica di Assetto Corsa. Ognuno dei tracciati ricreati in gioco con la tecnologia LaserScan è un mondo realistico a sé stante, definito da un orario della giornata, da condizioni meteorologiche e dal vento.
		</p>

		<p>
			Il vento influisce sull'aerodinamicità dei veicoli, mentre le condizioni meteorologiche possono evolversi durante una gara e influenzare le performance di guida e il feedback del tracciato, rendendo ogni competizione imprevedibile. Sfrutta le tue conoscenze di gara: se vedi nuvoloni scuri in cielo passa dal pit stop per cambiare le gomme della tua auto.
		</p>

		<p>
			La temperatura influisce sul grip della strada, performance del motore e pressione. Proprio per questo, guidare di giorno o di notte può cambiare completamente l'esperienza di guida. Impara ad adattarti e a reagire alle condizioni di pista variabili, proprio come i veri piloti professionisti GT3 e GT4.
		</p>

		<p>
			Assetto Corsa Competizione è disponibile su PlayStation 4, Xbox One, e PC via Steam. Gli utenti che possiedono il gioco su console avranno modo di aggiornare il gioco gratuitamente alle versioni PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X|S al lancio, trasferendo tutti i dati di salvataggio e i DLC posseduti.

	Studio 397 ha rilasciato una nuova build per rFactor 2, la 1126: con questo aggiornamento il team mira a migliorare i tempi di navigazione nella UI e i tempi di caricamento in generale, per restituire un'esperienza di gioco più fluida e meno frustrante. Il feedback ricevuto da chi ha utilizzato la Release Candidate è stato positivo, e lo Studio non vede l'ora di ascoltare le opinioni del resto dei giocatori ora che la build è pubblica

	Decisamente interessante il video di confronto diretto che potete ammirare qui sotto, che ci mostra il paragone fra la realtà della pista ed il simulatore di guida - in questo caso Assetto Corsa - sul rinnovato circuito di Yas Marina, sul quale fra due settimane si dsputerà l'Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix. La pista è stata rivista e modificata in vari punti, per permettere maggiori sorpassi.

<p>
	Mad Cow ha appena aggiornato il suo simulatore a due ruote <strong><a href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/1511630/TrackDayR/" rel="external">TrackDayR</a> </strong>portandolo alla versione 1.0.87.10: il nuovo major update porta con sè una nuova spec da GP, chiamata GP1000, e il dispositivo holeshot (disponibile solo per la GP1000): l'holeshot è un dispositivo utilizzato in MotoGP e mutuato dalle mountain bike ed il suo utilizzo è molto visibile in fase di partenza, quando vediamo le moto abbassarsi prima del via. Il dispositivo in questione permette alle moto di non impennarsi al via, alcune volte è utilizzato anche per facilitare l'uscita dalle curve. Anche su TrackDayR sarà possibile usare l'holeshot sia all'anteriore che al posteriore, con quest'ultimo utilizzabile anche in fase di uscita dalle curve
</p>

<p>
	Tra le altre importanti migliorie abbiamo l'aggiunta di due nuovi tracciati (SharkBay e Motor Arena Circuit), l'aggiornamento del motore Unity con l'aggiunta del DLSS per le schede grafiche Nvidia RTX ed è possibile cambiare l'ora del giorno scegliendo tra 4 preset.
</p>

<p>
	TrackDayR è al momento in sconto del 50% su <strong><a href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/1511630/TrackDayR/" rel="external">Steam</a></strong>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Automobilista 2 in versione 1.3.0.0 è ora disponibile! Il primo di numerosi aggiornamenti su questo ciclo di sviluppo è fortemente incentrato sulla fisica e sul force feedback: ampie revisioni alla trasmissione e ai pneumatici di tutte le auto e l'aggiunta di un nuovo profilo FFB come elaborato nell'aggiornamento di sviluppo di novembre Parte 2 rende questa la più grande revisione della fisica fatta finora.
</p>

<p>
	L'estensione degli aggiornamenti fisici ha richiesto l'adeguamento di conseguenza delle impostazioni predefinite e delle prestazioni dell'IA, un processo che rimane in corso per i prossimi giorni, quindi aspettiamoci alcuni piccoli aggiornamenti rapidi prima del rilascio di Racin´USA Parte 2 la prossima settimana. AMS2 V1.3 introduce un nuovo profilo FFB (Default+) in parallelo al vecchio profilo "Default" che rimane disponibile per gli utenti che potrebbero preferirlo. Le informazioni su questi aggiornamenti FFB insieme a un tutorial aggiornato per configurarlo al meglio verranno presto pubblicate su un thread dedicato.
</p>

<p>
	L'aggiornamento introduce anche la versione beta del nostro sistema di valutazione multigiocatore: presto arriveranno anche informazioni sui meccanismi del sistema e altre informazioni rilevanti per il multiplayer di AMS e il suo sviluppo in corso.
</p>

<p>
	Infine, AMS2 V1.3 porta anche alcuni contenuti nuovi e aggiornati: la classe TSI Cup con VW Polo e Virtus dalla demo di Acelerados rilasciata la scorsa settimana è ora inclusa nel gioco principale. Sul fronte pista, il circuito cittadino Azure è stato completamente rivisto con l'ausilio di dati laser scan.

</p>

<p>
	Gli appassionati di simracing con i capelli bianchi come i miei ricordano ancora adesso con nostalgia i primi anni '80, quando la nostra vita da adolescenti fu letteralmente sconvolta dall'uscita del leggendario <strong><a href="https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_64" rel="external">Commodore 64</a></strong>...
</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">
	<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="https://www.drivingitalia.net/uploads/monthly_2021_11/Commodore64.jpg.11a8b7f8ec124ae1545c92528422ed9e.jpg" data-fileid="49760" data-fileext="jpg" rel=""><img class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="49760" data-ratio="63.30" data-unique="esjvbe9ja" width="1000" alt="Commodore64.jpg" src="https://www.drivingitalia.net/uploads/monthly_2021_11/Commodore64.thumb.jpg.f015740e39d90ee8fe092eb8125cb7f9.jpg"></a>
</p>

<p>
	Il Commodore 64 è un home computer della Commodore Business Machines Inc. commercializzato dal 1982 al 1994. Fu immesso sul mercato due anni dopo il Commodore VIC-20, con capacità di memoria, grafiche e sonore superiori. La macchina, venduta sino al fallimento della società, è stata la più venduta nella storia dell'informatica, con diversi milioni di unità prodotte e vendute.
</p>

<p>
	Il C64 fronteggiò una vasta gamma di macchine concorrenti già appena dopo l'apparizione sul <a href="https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercato" title="Mercato" rel="external">mercato</a>; negli <a href="https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stati_Uniti_d%27America" title="Stati Uniti d'America" rel="external">Stati Uniti d'America</a> i più grandi concorrenti furono l'<a class="mw-redirect" href="https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_800" title="Atari 800" rel="external">Atari 800</a> e l'<a href="https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_II" title="Apple II" rel="external">Apple II</a>. L'Atari 800 era molto simile nell'architettura, ma era molto costoso da costruire, mentre l'Apple II non poteva più competere con l'hardware del C64, anche se la sua espandibilità a slot interni rimaneva una caratteristica assente nel C64. Nel <a href="https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regno_Unito" title="Regno Unito" rel="external">Regno Unito</a> i concorrenti principali del C64 erano l'<a href="https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amstrad_CPC" title="Amstrad CPC" rel="external">Amstrad CPC</a> e soprattutto lo <a href="https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZX_Spectrum" title="ZX Spectrum" rel="external">ZX Spectrum</a> prodotto dalla <a class="mw-redirect" href="https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinclair_Research_Ltd" title="Sinclair Research Ltd" rel="external">Sinclair Research Ltd</a>; quest'ultimo, distribuito qualche mese prima del C64 e venduto a quasi metà del suo prezzo, in un primo momento registrò un maggior numero di vendite ma alla fine non riuscì a fronteggiare le vendite della macchina della <a class="mw-redirect" href="https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore" title="Commodore" rel="external">Commodore</a>.
</p>

<p>
	La chiave del successo del C64 furono le aggressive tattiche di <a href="https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marketing" title="Marketing" rel="external">marketing</a>, che portarono a venderlo nei <a href="https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centro_commerciale" title="Centro commerciale" rel="external">grandi magazzini</a>, nei <a href="https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discount" title="Discount" rel="external">discount</a> e nei negozi di giocattoli, oltre che nella rete di rivenditori autorizzati. Questo, insieme con una grandissima disponibilità di software e <strong>in particolare di videogiochi</strong>, consentì alla macchina di competere con le <a class="mw-redirect" href="https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Console_(sistema_per_videogiochi)" title="Console (sistema per videogiochi)" rel="external">console per videogiochi</a>.
</p>

<p>
	Appunto, di videogiochi. Il C64 poteva vantare un numero davvero immenso di videogames, molti dei quali di qualità eccelsa. Anche perchè allora, incredibile ma vero, il gioco all'uscita doveva essere già perfetto, esente da bug o problemi, perchè la nefasta pratica della "patch" post lancio, che oggi è praticamente prassi consolidata, non era possibile in alcun modo. Se quindi un gioco aveva problemi o non era un granchè, veniva subito accantonato. E questo non poteva permetterselo nessuno, perchè produrre e commercializzare un gioco era molto molto costoso.
</p>

<p>
	Nei primi anni '80, quando il gioiellino di casa Commodore iniziò ad essere disponibile anche in Italia, la vita di migliaia di ragazzi (incluso il sottoscritto), fu letteralmente sconvolta: avevamo a disposizione una intera sala giochi in casa, attaccata alla TV, senza dover uscire, senza limiti e senza dover spendere monete! Si, perchè fino ad allora, per "videogiocare", si doveva uscire, andare in sala giochi e far durare il più possibile gli spiccioli racimolati casomai dopo vari giorni. Con il C64, il gaming divenne libero...
</p>

<p>
	Come detto, i giochi per il C64 erano tantissimi e naturalmente non mancavano diversi racing games ed alcuni di questi non solo erano fantasmagorici, ma si possono definire a tutti gli effetti come gli albori del moderno simracing! I più giovani di voi staranno forse sorridendo, ma bisogna tener presenti le enormi limitazioni hardware di allora, che non permettevano una grafica ed una fisica/dinamica di chissaà quali livelli. Vero è però, che gli sviluppatori di allora cercavano in tutti i modi di spremere il buon Commodore al suo limite ultimo, per ottenere prodotti ad un alto livello di "WOW".
</p>

<p>
	Qui di seguito vi elenchiamo i principali titoli racing dell'epoca del Commodore 64, che oggi, grazie a <strong><a href="https://www.gamesreplay.net/gr/" rel="external">GamesReplay</a></strong>, possiamo tornare a giocare gratis, con un semplice eseguibile da lanciare sotto Windows (avete letto bene: non ci sono millemila Gigabyte da scaricare!). Preparatevi poi ad imparare a guidare con la tastiera, perchè negli anni '80 pedaliere e volanti non esistevano.... <span><img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@14.0.2/assets/72x72/1f642.png" class="ipsEmoji" alt="🙂"></span>
</p>

<p>
	<span>Consiglio a tutti i giovani appassionati di provare i titoli che seguono, non solo per rendersi conto dei passi da gigante che sono stati fatti in poche decine di anni, ma anche per tornare ad apprezzare quel sapore antico del divertimento semplice e fatto di piccole cose. Perchè nei giochi qui sotto, non mancano i tocchi di classe, come vi dimostrerà in modo emblematico il REVS di un certo </span>Geoff Crammond. L'anno zero del simracing.
</p>

<p>
	Buon divertimento.

			<b>400Hz physics engine!</b><br>
			Starting with the most beloved coffee table discussion. The physics engine frequency.<br>
			Fernando has been working a lot in order to improve our physics engine functionality to the core. The result is big multithreading optimisations and variable component tick frequency. So instead of having a monolithic physics engine that runs everything at a given frequency, we can now choose which part of the simulation needs a higher frequency and which one can do with lower updates.<br>
			The end result is that we can have a much more precise control of the resources needed by our physics engine and achieve better performances even at high load scenarios such as very high number of cars on the circuit. At the same time, the better multithreading division of “jobs” keeps the CPU occupancy lower and gives the rest of the game engine (graphics, sound etc) the resources needed to run smoother than before, greatly improving average and minimum FPS.<br>
			As described before, all these improvements while not directly raising the FPS count, they do permit the whole game to run smoother. We grabbed the opportunity instantly and after a few tests we decided to raise the frequency of our physics engine at 400hz!<br>
			All the critical components of the physics engine (tyres, suspensions, springs, dampers etc) as well as FFB are now updated at 400hz while not losing any measurable performance, even without using the latest fancy acronyms like DLSS and FSR.<br>
			The higher 400hz refresh rate, enhances the tyre collision detection with the ground even at very high speeds. At 250kmh the car moves 69 metres every second. This means that in v1.7 the tyre and ground detection would be updated every 21cm. Now in v1.8 the tyre ground detection occurs every 17cm at such high speeds. That’s a 20% improvement and it is significative. The result is improved and more detailed tyre to kerb simulation, improved springs and dampers interaction at higher rates, improved and more precise FFB refresh etc. etc.<br><br>
			Yes it is true that refresh rate is important up to a point but it is more important how many things you calculate and simulate at every tick. ACC has always been doing an amazing amount of calculations for every physics refresh update. Now it calculates even more data at an even higher refresh rate. We think you’ll like it.<br><br><b>Tyre model improvements</b><br>
			The updated frequency was already giving great results in the tyre simulation but we wanted to do more. One of the most difficult to research aspects of tyre simulation is the combined grip. The amount of grip available while a tyre undergoes both longitudinal and lateral forces at the same time. It is also an aspect of the tyre characteristics that greatly influences drivers feel, confidence and predictability.<br>
			We have completely rewritten the combined grip equations and values. The new simulation offers improved control right and over the limit in various conditions, improved trailbraking possibilities and more traction even without Traction Control electronics. The combined grip characteristics of each tyre are completely dynamic and greatly influenced by the type of surface they are rolling on, the wetness or lack of there of of the surface, the load, the vibrations, the pressure and of course the temperature of the tyre.<br>
			Speaking of tyre temperature, the heat generation, dissipation, and propagation has been rewritten from scratch. Our model is extremely complex, with many many variables influencing each other dynamically. ACC v1.7 had achieved already a high level of simulation but we really wanted to make a substantial improvement. In v1.8 the surface flash temperatures, which unfortunately but realistically you cannot check in real time HUDs, are even more dynamic than previously. This greatly affects the surface grip of the tyre, meaning that extremely aggressive inputs from the driver, or aggressive setups, can and will overheat the surface temperature of the tyres instantly.<br>
			The tyre characteristics dynamically change depending on the temperature which means you can expect a more nervous tyre at cold temperatures and more rubbery feeling at higher temperatures up to a “oily and vague” feeling while overheating.<br>
			Obviously the surface flash temperature propagates into the tyre core temperature but does so in a more realistic way. As a matter of fact, the tyres lose core temperature much slower and so you can position your car in the grid without having to wait for the last 10seconds. On the other hand, depending on the track you might need more than 3 to 4 laps to get precise pressure readings from core temperature. We didn’t even forget heat generation on extreme conditions. The model correctly handles such situations like burnouts and donuts. The surface will overheat greatly but it will not skyrocket instantly to temps that go way over 300°C and resulting in blown tyres. It will happen of course if you insist, but it will take a different effort.<br><br>
			We just getting started.<br>
			A new camber simulation that not only improves greatly the behaviour in extreme situations in both negative and positive camber values (like riding a kerb with the inner front wheel), but also offers much more realistic temperature generation and wear on Outside, Mid, Inside parts of the tyre depending on the camber values of the setup.<br>
			Use a highly negative value and wear the inner tyre in long distances, or use a low negative value and wear down the outside tyre. The new camber simulation also creates interesting 2 wheel riding moments, if you hit high kerbs with high CoG cars.<br>
			The camber simulation goes deeper, influencing also the forces generated by the big wide slicks when they ride longitudinal bumps and kerbs. The tyres now correctly generate important amounts of lateral forces in such conditions, provoking FFB forces that can affect your stability if you are approaching such road features with high negative camber and toe values.<br>
			Too annoyed by such behaviour? Lower the negative camber and tow and get more stability over such longitudinal features of the road, but at the expense of lateral grip and outside wear.<br>
			A new viscoelastic rubber friction model takes into account the change of tyre characteristics that occur at higher rotational speeds. Great control at low speeds and trickier behaviour at higher speeds.<br>
			Together with a brand new tyre vibration model relative to high slipangles and speeds, it results at the same time in a more dynamic model and better feedback to the driver as the tyre will be result smoother at lower speeds even over the limit, but will generate more vibrations at higher speeds even just above the limit, signalling to the driver either an imminent loss of control or tyre wear.<br>
			The vibrations are properly simulated on a physics level and are not FFB effects. They are also affected by tyre heat as a hotter tyre will generate more damping and lower vibrations.<br><br>
			Is that all? Nope, we’re not finished yet<br>
			There are many many more little details on the tyres simulation. Here’s a couple more.<br>
			Improved wet surface simulation. Slicks are death traps when wet but you can do some nice power drifts at low speed if you’re careful. Really bad aquaplanning at any slipangle at speed. Obviously better with wets but again aquaplanning is bad at wider slipangles. The wets temperature range is also widened but not necessarily better in terms of performance.<br>
			Improved slipangle/ratio simulation relative to cold and overheating tyres. Completely different characteristics now on the two temperature extremes.<br>
			Improved tyre flex and movements of the whole body relative to the flex. The best of you should feel the car rotating in yaw when the tyre flex is bigger (depending on pressure, temperature, surface etc. Try very low pressures, it’s “interesting”)<br>
			Improved pressure influence to heat generation. Lower pressure tyres generate more heat, higher pressure tyres generate less heat. While optimum pressure is still the target to achieve, you might want or forced to search some better compromises between the optimum pressure and the heat generation of the tyre. So playing with the pressures to bring heat up or down comes into play a bit.<br><br><b>Bumpstops</b><br>
			Tyre simulation is not the only area we improved. We have plenty new features and improvements on other areas as well.<br>
			New rubber bumpstops damping simulation. In ACC v1.7 the bumpstops are a very important aspect of the handling tuning and they work as progressive springs on top of the normal springs. V1.8 now properly simulates the rubbery self dampening nature of bumpstops. This means that you don’t have to compromise and overcompensate with normal dampers to take care of the bumpstop elastic rates. The dampening of bumpstops are now implemented for each car, greatly improving the behaviour of the car over kerbs and jumps. They also permit further fine tuning of the dampers and let the car bounce more naturally while absorbing bumps and kerbs in the meanwhile.<br>
			As an example, Lesmo 2 inner kerb is not insta-kill anymore. On the other hand, riding the inner Ascari right hander might be more problematic as the new camber simulation make the tyres follow the strange conformation of the kerb and destabilise the car.<br><br><b>Brakes</b><br>
			Brakes are more powerful and together with the new tyre flex can slightly make the rear end move a tiny bit under braking depending on the situation.<br>
			The Brake ducts simulation is improved and their influence in the tyre heat generation is now less. You can still use the brake ducts to heat up tyres but not as dramatically as before.<br>
			Driving style also makes quite a difference now. Aggressive drivers will need more open ducts to somewhat limit the tyres overheating, smoother drivers can work with smaller ducts. Especially in races.<br><br><b>Engine throttle</b><br>
			Improved engine throttle simulation. We now simulate the engine throttle valve better and the result is easier starts without stalling the engine. This enabled us to limit the range of the launch control speed to a very low number (like 5kmh and after that it disengages). The side effect is that you can spin the car around with better control without the launch control overrevving the engine. Obviously the different throttle simulation also affects the way your throttle modulation and engine response occurs.<br><br><b>Track grip on and off the ideal line</b><br>
			Improved track grip on and off the ideal line. The difference in grip is still present but less evident, making the choice of alternative racing lines and overtaking manoeuvres not only easier to handle but also more interesting, letting the drivers choose slightly different lines for different car configurations.<br><br><b>Temperatures and performance</b><br>
			Track temperatures and ambient temperatures have also been tweaked for improved simulation of various conditions. We also simulate night and early morning humidity and dew. This means that you cannot lower the temperature at the minimum in the night or very early in the morning and hope to obtain record laptimes. Your tyres will slightly suffer the dew and the performance will be worse even though the cold weather will improve engine power and downforce.<br><br><b>Conclusion</b><br>
			The lists goes on, as well as the list of cars tweaks and improvements (like Huracan corrected front steering geometry, Nissan and Lexus corrected rear bump steer and more and more).<br>
			With all those improvements in tyre characteristics, better grip sensation, better TC, better brakes, better engine response it’s normal to expect faster laptimes, which would completely void our quest for realism.<br>
			I’m happy to inform you that v1.8 laptimes are slower by an average half to two seconds depending car, track, ambient combination. And of course we are hard at work on a better BOP balance as always.

<p>
	<strong>Motore fisico a 400 Hz</strong>: la maggiore frequenza di aggiornamento (400 hz) migliora il rilevamento della collisione del pneumatico con le sconnessioni dell’asfalto anche a velocità molto elevate. Il risultato è una migliore e più dettagliata interazione con dossi, buche e cordoli, una migliore interazione di molle e ammortizzatori alle alte velocità, un FFB migliorato e più preciso, ecc…
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Miglioramenti al modello pneumatici</strong>: per quanto riguarda la temperatura dei pneumatici, la generazione, la dissipazione e la propagazione del calore sono state riscritte da zero. Il modello dello pneumatico adesso è molto più complesso rispetto al precedente, con molte variabili che si influenzano a vicenda in modo dinamico. Adesso le caratteristiche del pneumatico cambiano dinamicamente a seconda della temperatura, il che significa che puoi aspettarti un pneumatico più nervoso a basse temperature e una sensazione più gommosa a temperature più elevate fino a una sensazione “oleosa” in caso di surriscaldamento.
</p>

<p>
	La temperatura della patina superficiale della gomma si propaga nella parte interna del pneumatico, ma lo fa in modo più realistico. Le gomme infatti perdono la temperatura interna molto più lentamente. Anche relativamente al camber sono state apportate migliorie: l’usura e le variazioni di temperatura sulle parti esterne, medie e interne delle gomme in relazione ai diversi valori di campanatura del setup sono molto più realistiche. Inoltre, con valori di campanatura e convergenza negativi elevati, le gomme ora generano correttamente quantità importanti di forze laterali quando esse percorrono dossi longitudinali rispetto al tracciato o cordoli che possono influenzare la stabilità dell’auto. Le vibrazioni sono correttamente simulate a livello fisico e non sono solo effetti del FFB; esse sono anche influenzate dal calore poiché un pneumatico più caldo genererà più smorzamento e minori vibrazioni. La simulazione della pista bagnata è stata migliorata. Le slick sono mortali sul bagnato. C'è anche una migliore influenza della pressione sulla generazione di calore. Ovvero: i pneumatici a pressione più bassa generano più calore, i pneumatici a pressione più alta generano meno calore.
</p>

	</div>
</div>

<p>
	<strong>Bumpstop</strong>: lo smorzamento dei bumpstop è stato affinato, migliorando notevolmente il comportamento della vettura su cordoli e buche. Ciò consente un’ulteriore messa a punto degli ammortizzatori e permette all’auto di rimbalzare in modo più naturale assorbendo nel contestualmente urti e cordoli.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Freni</strong>: i freni sono più potenti e insieme alla nuova rigidezza flessionale dello pneumatico possono far muovere leggermente il retrotreno in frenata in base alle circostanze.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Acceleratore</strong>: la simulazione della valvola a farfalla del motore è adesso migliorata e il risultato sono partenze più facili senza il rischio di spegnere il motore.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Modifiche al grip in traiettoria e fuori dalla linea ideale</strong>: migliore aderenza dentro e fuori la linea ideale. La differenza di grip è ancora presente ma meno evidente, rendendo la scelta di traiettorie di gara alternative e manovre di sorpasso non solo più facili da gestire ma anche più interessanti.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Temperatura ambientale e prestazioni</strong>: anche le temperature dell’asfalto e dell’ambiente sono state ottimizzate per una migliore simulazione che adesso include l’influenza dell’umidità e della rugiada nelle ore notturne e al mattino. Ciò significa che non è possibile abbassare la temperatura al minimo notturno o molto presto al mattino e sperare di ottenere tempi record. Le tue gomme soffriranno leggermente e le prestazioni saranno peggiori anche se il freddo migliorerà la potenza del motore e il carico aerodinamico.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Prestazioni</strong>: nonostante i miglioramenti nelle caratteristiche degli pneumatici, una migliore sensazione di aderenza, un migliore TC, migliori freni, una migliore risposta del motore, i tempi sul giro nella v1.8 di ACC sono più lenti in media media da mezzo secondo fino a due secondi in funzione dell’auto, della pista e delle condizioni ambientali.
</p>

</div>

<p>
	In considerazione delle suddette modifiche e migliorie, ci sono 10 cose da tenere in considerazione con molta attenzione:
</p>

<p>
	- Inizia ad approcciarti alla nuova versione di ACC a mente sgombra. Non provare subito i tuoi vecchi setup, specialmente se sono estremi, non spingere subito forte.
</p>

<p>
	- Le auto saranno più lente. Decisamente più lente soprattutto man mano che le temperature si abbassano e diventano estreme. Non cercare di andare veloce come prima, spingerai troppo e ti sentirai frustrato per mancanza di progressi.
</p>

<p>
	- Una gomma fredda è una gomma nervosa. Un pneumatico surriscaldato è un pneumatico docile ma impreciso. Le gomme hanno anche bisogno di più tempo per scaldarsi, ma perdono calore anche molto più lentamente. Non c’è bisogno di aspettare fino all’ultimo secondo per entrare in griglia.
</p>

<p>
	- I pneumatici si surriscaldano. Va bene, impara e adattati. Non andrai in  testacoda, ma perderai un po’ in termini di prestazioni.
</p>

<p>
	- Un camber negativo molto elevato produrrà un deciso ”tramlining” (letteralmente effetto binario, per indicare la tendenza dei pneumatici a vibrare serpeggiando come succederebbe se incappassero nelle rotaie del tram). Gli pneumatici larghi slick tenderanno a seguire dossi e cordoli longitudinali, con manifestazioni nel FFB e influenzando la stabilità del retrotreno. Una campanatura meno negativa ridurrà notevolmente il tramlining a scapito di un po’ di aderenza laterale. Indaga su questo fenomeno, specialmente su piste con molti dossi e superfici irregolari.
</p>

<p>
	- Apri i condotti dei freni! L’intera gamma di condotti del freno è ora utilizzabile e probabilmente avrai bisogno di un’apertura fino a 6 in alcune condizioni.
</p>

<p>
	- Sì, c’è molta trazione al punto che potresti correre senza utilizzare il TC in condizioni ottimali. No, non sarai necessariamente più veloce. L’usura ne risentirà anche e soprattutto sulla lunga distanza.
</p>

<p>
	- Sì, puoi frenare completamente con l’ABS. C’è ancora qualcosa in più da guadagnare intorno all’intervento dell’ABS modulando un po’.
</p>

<p>
	- Elevata campanatura negativa in qualifica, un po’ meno per la gara per ridurre l’usura delle gomme.
</p>

<p>
	- La linea di gara ha più grip come al solito. Ma c’è meno differenza di aderenza andando appena fuori la traiettoria gommata. Percorri traiettorie un po’ diverse per saggiare il comportamento della tua auto e modificare lo stile di guida. Potrebbe essere vantaggioso.
</p>

<p>
	Qui di seguito viene tutto riassunto in un video.
