The International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) today announced a strategic alliance with the award-winning, world-renowned Forza franchise developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft Studios. This alliance includes a multi-faceted platform of activation highlighting IMSA cars, tracks and partners already aligned with the franchise which is home to the largest online racing community in gaming. Earlier this week Turn 10 launched Forza Motorsport 7, the most comprehensive, beautiful and authentic racing game ever made on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. “This alliance between IMSA and the Forza franchise further solidifies the long-standing relationship between these two outstanding brands,” IMSA president Scott Atherton said. “IMSA cars and tracks have enjoyed a significant presence in the game for many years, and we are proud to have our series featured to the millions who play the game every day.” “We’re proud to celebrate the launch of Forza Motorsport 7 by announcing the alliance with IMSA, a long-standing partner of our franchise,” Turn10 Senior Business Director Mike Humphreys said. “At Turn 10 Studios we are driven by car passion, technical innovation and the thrill of competition; all pursuits that we share with IMSA. We look forward to further expanding our collaboration with IMSA and delivering new experiences that fans can love and enjoy. During this weekend’s Motul Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta, Forza Motorsport 7 will have a display in the Vendor Village where fans can play this just released game. Many cars participating in the race will feature a Forza Motorsport 7 decal. More than 100 historical IMSA cars are available within the game which features over 20 official partners of IMSA including Acura, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Ford, Honda, Lamborghini, Lexus, Mazda, McLaren, Mercedes Benz, Mini, Nissan and Porsche. Other official partners the two brands share are Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO), Michelin and Motul. Forza Motorsport 7 licenses nine of the 12 tracks where IMSA's WeatherTech Championship currently races. Those include Daytona International Speedway, Sebring International Raceway, Long Beach Street Circuit, Lime Rock Park, Watkins Glen International, Road America, VIRginia International Raceway, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and Road Atlanta. Past IMSA tracks including Circuit of the Americas and Sonoma Raceway are also available.

Forza Motorsport 7? E io pago...

The Playseat Car Pack is coming to Forza Horizon 3! Launching on Tuesday, February 7 the Playseat Car Pack brings seven new vehicles to the wide-open roads of Australia. The list of cars begins appropriately with one of the favorite cars of an Aussie racing legend, Pete Brock’s 1985 HDT VK Commodore Group A. The pack also features Cadillac’s latest high-performance coupe in the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V, plus Aston Martin’s new DB11, two Honda models (one a high-revving classic, the other a race-bred Civic), and more. The Playseat Car Pack is included in the Forza Horizon 3 Car Pass, which is available for separate purchase or as part of the Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition. All the cars in this pack are also compatible with the first Forza Horizon 3 expansion, Blizzard Mountain, which is available as part of the Forza Horizon 3 Expansion Pass, or as a standalone purchase. Here’s a closer look at all of the cars in the pack: 1985 HDT VK Commodore Group A In Australia, the name Peter Brock evokes championship racing, national pride, and the twisting, undulating roads of Bathurst. The Commodore Group A is a distinctive car in Brock’s racing career, built during the period when he was running his own company building race-bred road cars. In the mid-1980s, home grown rules evolved to a European formula that included homologation. We have these rules to thank for the 502models of the VK Commodore Group A that were built. Dubbed “Bluey” or the “Blue Meanie” for the Formula Blue color all the models were painted, in sight, sound, and speed, the Group A holds a special place in the heart of Holden fans. 1990 Renault Alpine GTA Le Mans In the mid-1970s, Renault acquired car builder Alpine, saving it from financial troubles. While Alpine models had heavily relied on Renault parts and were sold by Renault dealers, the brand was previously independently owned by rally driver Jean Redele. Through the early 1970s, Redele’s Alpines delivered two wins at the Rally Monte Carlo and several finishes at Le Mans. The 325 models of the Alpine GTA Le Mans harken to that bygone era. In its time, this four-seat grand tourer rivaled the best Porsche had to offer. Its sleek form delivers an amazing drag coefficient and the rear mounted turbo V6 provides renowned weight balance, power, and traction. 2016 Cadillac ATS-V Perhaps you remember the days when “Cadillac” translated to “luxury land yacht.” While your grandparents may still prefer retro Cadillac models for their unrivaled American comfort, the ATS-V is more likely to be owned by that favorite uncle who always has the cool car. The ATS-V is a performance-packed luxury coupe that easily compares with the top sport luxury coupes from Germany or Japan. Starting with more than 460 V6 twin-turbo horsepower, this American sport-coupe also features a well-tuned chassis that’s aided by magnetorheological dampers, giving the ATS-V performance that’s well beyond mere straight-line speed. 2017 Aston Martin DB11 When it comes to engines, there really isn’t anything more opulent than a V-12. The Aston Martin DB11 adds twin-turbos to its two inline six cylinders mated at the crank, making this wide-body luxury grand tourer something that pulls hard from idle to redline. It’s hard to believe the DB11 is in the middle of the Aston Martin lineup. With lavish accoutrements and more power than the average driver would even need, the DB11 is looking for an open road to let that V12 breathe, while offering the ultimate in comfort and amenities. 2016 Vauxhall Corsa VXR Start with General Motors, add a healthy heaping of German engineering, then design a car that’s born and bred for the U.K. market, and you’ll come up with the Vauxhall Corsa VXR. This is a brash 1.6-liter turbo-charged four-cylinder front-wheel-drive city car that is all get up and go. More than 200 horsepower tugging the front wheels of this super-mini delivers a thrill that is only matched by the raucous rumble of the Remus exhaust burbling out behind its diminutive form. You can get your groceries in the Corsa VXR, but don’t be surprised if the trip is longer than expected. After all, in a car like this, you’ll want to take the long way home. 1970 Honda S800 Chances are you will never have this much fun with anything else at around 70 horsepower. The Honda S800 represents the final evolution of one of the first four-wheeled Hondas to hit the road. In 1962, Soichiro Honda presented the T360 and S360 at the Tokyo Motor Show. The T360 was a pick-up truck and the S360 a two-seater spider. These vehicles were powered by 356cc Honda motorcycle engines and had chain drive. Engine displacement evolved to the 791cc motor with a standard live axle rear end. The S800’s screaming-high redline was a direct descendent of the Honda car’s motorcycle roots was the S800’s screaming-high redline. If you have ever enjoyed the high-revving joy of the modern day S2000, you’ve got the S800 to thank for it. 2016 Honda Civic Type R For car fans, seeing the letter “R” on a car usually means something special. In the case of the Civic Type R, “R” means “racing,” as in race-bred. Honda didn’t just slap some logos and some wheels on this specification either. The R might also stand for “ridiculous” horsepower – as in more than 300hp. Take one look at the sleek and aggressive aero kit and “R” can easily stand for “radical.” From the torque-steer limiting dual-axis strut suspension, to the mechanical front differential and the Brembo brakes, this Civic Type R is just what Honda fans, and Forza fans, have been waiting for.

We’re celebrating all of this Forza news with some new details on the game, including the announcement of a number of previously unannounced cars in Forza Motorsport 6, as well as full details on all the tracks in the game. Read on for all the details! Brand New Cars Led by the awesome power of the 2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S, these ten newly announced cars bring the total car count to Forza Motorsport 6 to 460 cars in the standard edition, the largest number of cars ever seen at the launch of a Forza game! Here’s the list: 2015 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S When you first think of Mercedes-Benz, you may be drawn to the lavish luxury the brand is renowned for. But with the company’s recent dominance in Formula One (F1) – where its “Silver Arrows” are poised to capture a second Constructors’ Championship in a row – it’s clear Mercedes can do performance too. But what about both? Mercedes’ new AMG GT S balances the two disciplines, with equal doses of F1-like speed and la-z-boy luxury. Under the AMG GT S’s sleek hood sits a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing more than 500 horsepower. That’s enough boosted motor to pull competitive laps at any racetrack and hit 193 mph flat out, complimented by a leather-lined interior befit for autobahn blasts. Bordering on supercar, but still competing with other top models from Germany, the AMG GT S is exactly what you’d expect from Mercedes: the pinnacle of performance and luxury. The rest of the cars we’re revealing today: · 1979 BMW #6 BMW Motorsport M1 Procar · 2015 Volvo S60 Polestar · 2014 Audi #45 Flying Lizard Motorsports R8 LMS ultra · 2014 BMW #5 Ebay Motors 125i M Sport · 2014 Chevrolet #3 Corvette Racing Corvette C7.R · 2015 Jaguar XKR-S GT · 1976 Lotus #5 Team Lotus 77 · 1969 Lola #10 Simoniz Special T163 · 2014 Ferrari California T Track Details Forza Motorsport 6 will feature 26 locales and more than 100 ribbons total, including brand new locations like Brands Hatch, Daytona Motor Speedway, Monza, and more. Tracks in Forza 6 include a mix of real-world circuits and fictional tracks based on real locations. Each of the real racing circuits in the game has been carefully chosen because of its stature on the world stage of motorsport, as well as its fun and challenge. In addition, we have brand new tracks like Rio, which have been created specifically to create a one-of-a-kind driving experience for the player, full of stunning beauty and excitement. Forza Motorsport 6 is taking its track lineup to the next level with its stunning night and rain racing and the team at Turn 10 has worked incredibly hard to bring racing in the rain and racing at night to life on Xbox One in a way no other game has. Let’s take a look at the full track list in Forza 6, and how you’ll experience them in a brand new way. First up, here’s the full list of all 26 environments in the game: Autodromo Nazionale Monza Circuit of the Americas Hockenheimring Sonoma Raceway Watkins Glen The other tracks we have announced for Forza Motorsport 6. Brands Hatch Bernese Alps Circuit de Catalunya Circuit de Spa Francorchamps Daytona International Speedway Indianapolis Motor Speedway Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe Lime Rock Park Long Beach Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Mount Panorama Circuit (Bathurst) Nürburgring Prague Rio Road America Road Atlanta Sebring International Raceway Silverstone Test Track Top Gear Yas Marina Racing in the Rain No matter how fast you think you are, the rain will humble you. There’s a reason they call rain “the great equalizer” – it’s enough to bring even the greatest racers down to earth. It’s where the smallest errors are magnified a hundredfold, and where the greatest risks can be the difference between victory and an embarrassing spin. With Forza Motorsport 6, we’ve brought rain to life; simulating the experience of not just how rain looks and sounds but, most importantly, how it feels. Fully modeled 3D puddles lurk on wet-weather tracks, waiting to pounce on your car like hungry sea monsters. Get an apex wrong or dip a tire in the water, and you’ll feel the puddle pulling your car deeper into the wet. Perhaps the most challenging aspect of racing in the rain is relearning the course. After all, your racing line changes in wet weather – where once there was an apex, there might be a puddle, and you’ll need to react and relearn your racing line in order to find the fastest (and safest) way around the track. Each of the wet-weather tracks in Forza Motorsport 6 have been selected because of their close ties to rain racing. Whether its U.K.-based circuits like Brands Hatch or Silverstone, or famous endurance racing tracks like Spa or the Nürburgring (the latter of which features more than 500 accurately placed puddles!), these locations will test your mastery of the car, the weather, and yourself: Brands Hatch Circuit de Spa Francorchamps Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe Nürburgring Sebring International Raceway Silverstone Additionally, the Top Gear Track will feature wet conditions. Racing at Night Racing makes demands of the driver in an entirely different way. Call it bravery, chutzpah, or sheer will , driving at ludicrous speeds when all you have to guide you are a pair of headlights and, if you’re lucky, the brake lights of the cars ahead, requires race drivers to go above and beyond what is already expected of them. The same is true in Forza Motorsport 6. Whether you are careening down the back straight at Le Mans or navigating tight traffic on Daytona, night racing in Forza Motorsport 6 requires you to use your driving skills in new ways. We’ve taken inspiration from different variations of night, too. After all, racing under the neon lights of the Viceroy Hotel at Yas Marina is a very different experience from battling it out in the darkest depths of Sebring. With reduced grip thanks to the cooler track temperatures, you’ll experience a unique challenge in each of the night-racing tracks in Forza 6: Circuit de Spa Franchorchamps Daytona International Speedway Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe Nürburgring Plus, Sebring International Raceway, and Yas Marina will be available to race at night. Your first taste of Forza Motorsport 6 is coming on September 1 with the arrival of the demo. Look for more information on Forza Motorsport 6 later this week!
