Siamo lieti di annunciare l'accordo di licensing ufficiale con uno dei marchi automobilistici più esclusivi, Pagani Automobili. Questo accordo di licenza consentirà al team di sviluppo di Assetto Corsa di riprodurre nei minimi dettagli la celebre Zonda R, vera e propria star dei più celebri videogame a tema racing. Videogamer e fan delle simulazioni di guida avranno l'opportunità di guidare questa supercar esclusiva sfruttando al meglio l'engine fisico di Assetto Corsa, concepito per combinare realismo e massimo feeling di guida. Le caratteristiche di quest'auto suggeriscono il perché un modello del genere non poteva mancare nel garage virtuale di Assetto Corsa: la monoscocca centrale è in composito carbonio-titanio, con incrementata rigidità ed una significativa diminuzione di peso. Il motore Mercedes AMG V12 6.0 lt derivante dalle corse, imbullonato direttamente allo chassis, sviluppa 750 cv e 710 Nm di coppia.La risposta immediata è assicurata dall’attuazione delle farfalle tramite cavo meccanico.Il cambio sequenziale trasversale in magnesio a innesti frontali della XTrac abbinato alla robotizzazione di Automac Engineering permette di effettuare cambiate in 20 ms ed è gestito dal pilota tramite le palette al volante. Le regolazioni aerodinamiche possono spaziare dal valore massimo di carico verticale di 1.500 kg fino ad una velocità di 350 kmh. I componenti delle sospensioni forgiati in AvionAl, così come le parti strutturali in ErgAl lavorate dal pieno dalla Modenese Aspa, sorreggono il motore e la scatola cambio e sono state progettate per ridurre il peso dell’intera vettura, aiutate anche dall’uso di bulloneria Poggipolini esclusivamente in titanio. Queste soluzioni portano ad un peso a secco di 1.070 kg. Il rapporto peso-potenza di 701 hp per tonnellata li catapulterà da 0 a 100 kmh in meno di 2,7 secondi. I freni in ceramica Brembo assicureranno una fermata ancora più veloce. La Pagani Zonda R sarà inclusa nella versione 1.0 di Assetto Corsa, il cui rilascio è atteso per il 2012. Slightly Mad Studios and world-renowned sports car manufacturer Pagani Automobili S.p.A. are proud to announce a partnership which will see three of the manufacturer’s cars featuring in Project CARS. The companies have pledged to work closely together to perfect the ultimate digital representation of the cars, breaking new boundaries in terms of visual representation, true to life handling and audio fidelity. Players will be able to experience virtual versions of the Pagani Zonda R, the Zonda Cinque and the all-new Huayra, giving gamers access to both road-going hypercars and thoroughbred racing machinery. Passionate racers will love the Zonda R, the last and most extreme version of Pagani’s popular Zonda model. Powered by a six-litre V12 DOHC engine built by Mercedes-AMG, the 750bhp track-bred monster sprints from 0-100 in an almost unbelievable 2.7 seconds. Drivers who don’t want to be confined to race tracks will love the Zonda Cinque, the pinnacle of the road-going Zondas. And the line-up is completed by the all-new Huayra, Pagani’s latest addition to its stable. Utilising the first turbocharged engine to power a Pagani, it puts out 730bhp and features a revolutionary active aerodynamics concept in a bold new design.
