The aim was to give a physics as credible as possible to this monster of 1340kg of weight, ballasted by FIA with other 25kg for the b.o.p.) 6208cc of displacement, more than 500Hp of power and 600Nm of torque (with plate restrictors). The sounds of the 90° V 8-cylinder front-longitudinally mounted were developed by Richard "Mildrew" , who has achieved an impressive result. Some slight fixes I spotted I ended up redoing the pit buildings, then made and added various pit extras, retextured and reworked the road surface to look used and raced on, plus added odd tyreskids, added lots of grass clumps to track side and the catch fences now have moveable poles, rather than drop the complete fences .. included the altered default specialfx.tec with added material for the moveable poles which you may need to use if you find poles dont fall.... has the 70's style car jack and air gun in the pit extras..I made for use with 75 trackpack, ..... I just added all weather tires and gave them a little bit more grip. I've included also the default tires, so you can change them at any time, either by renaming the filenames or editing the tires entry in the E21.cas file. The original mod has only one red driver's suit, so I added some other colors too. If you don't like any, just go into the Teams folder and delete the XXX_BODY.dds file (where XXX is the driver's name). The first Estonia car was built in 1957 in Tallinna Autoremondi Katsetehas (TARK) led by Ants Seiler. The car set the lap record in its first race in Leningrad. Inspired by the success, Ants Seiler proposed building two more cars named Estonia 2 and 3. After racing these cars orders from all over the Soviet Union started coming in which led to the production of Estonia formula cars. Estonia 21, which was designed by the successful racing driver Raul Sarap (who also designed Esttec 884 which won the Finnish F4 championship against Western machinery) became the most successful Estonia by production volume (a total of 295 were built). It was so highly sophisticated that the following Estonia 22 and 23 cars didn't get past the prototype phase. The car used a VAZ engine that produced about 130hp (depending on who prepared it) at the end of its lifetime. Estonia 21 was inspired by the successful Lotus 79 and likewise used ground effect. A spaceframe chassis was used instead of a monocoque because of the low availability of some metals in the Soviet Union. The car had two updated versions, Estonia 21M and Estonia 21-10. After Estonia 21 retired, Estonia 24 (the first model with a monocoque chassis), 25 and 26 were produced. Thanks to the collapse of the Soviet Union and to the transferral to a new economy only 6 Estonia 26s were built. The factory was privatized and named Kavor. In 2000 the last car named Estonia 26-9 was built. An impressive total of about 1300 cars (plus hundreds of karts) were produced which rivals even established Western manufacturers. Motor sports events were held from 1903 to 1965. Because of the narrow pathways, only motorcycle events were held until 1956. The track and stands were expanded in early 1957 and racing sports cars and racing have been organized by the Automobile Club ADAC. Motorcycle Grand Prix took place on this circuit from 1952 to 1964, with the German motorcycle Grand Prix which takes place here in even years: 1952, 1954, 1956, 1958, 1960, 1962 and 1964. From 1961 to 1964, Grand Prix Formula 1 non-championship were held, in addition to tests of Formula 2 and Formula Junior. In 2003, a memorial was held, with many former members and vehicles. NOTE: Use of these edited AIW files may cause online mismatches. Overview ====== - Eau Rouge has always been difficult for the AI cars to handle and navigate well. They will unnecessarily brake at the entrance and on the uphill portion, and often drift over the curb on the left-hander at the top of the hill. All this can cause incidents that should be avoidable by the AI. - These edited AIW files use a smoother driving line all through Eau Rouge, plus a slight increase in speed on selected waypoints. This combination gives a much more realistic and competitive result all the way from the start to the finish of Eau Rouge. - The AI often do not navigate the La Source hairpin very well. They frequently scrape the barrier on the inside of the hairpin, or take the hairpin unnecessarily wide. The driving line also makes them turn in too early, which gives them a less-optimal exit from the hairpin down into the start/finish straight. - These edited AIW files have the AI taking a slightly later entrance into the hairpin. This allows them to take a close and consistent line through the hairpin without scraping the barrier. Vers 1.2 Some slight mesh changes/fixes, texture, overall appearance, trees, grass colouring and grasses are slightly desaturated.. but finally remembered to add some extra objects, tyrewalls, bushes, vans and marshals etc in the old oval road area to prevent cutting through and prevent cheating for online use..this road way is only used to get to the pits now..
