VELOCIPEDE
download BETA 4B http://www.drivingit...ads&showfile=53 BETA 4B: a quick fix to address some bugs:- send setup - tires' temperatures when English units are set - hide steering wheel - steering wheels mapping Also, a change: when "Automatic Idle" is not set, the kart is deployed with engine off. Kart Racing Pro beta4 released.A clean install is strongly recommended. It is recommended to delete Beta3 installation directory and "PiBoSo" folder in "My Documents". To make things more interesting, karts no more have a thermostat, so you now have to check for air temperature and use the radiator cover. Please write if you don't like it. There are a few known problems, that will be fixed in the future releases: - host setup "Max Ping" and force feedback "Damping" settings still don't work correctly. Please don't use them. - the simulation stutters with wet track / conditions. At the moment it can only be considered a "technical demo". - force-feedback vibration when kart is stopped. This is the first build with partnerships: Circuit International d'Essay Unipro Note: replays and setups are not compatible with previous versions Questo messaggio è stato promosso ad articolo
VELOCIPEDE
Dedicated server setup has been extended. There are up to 10 "slots" and the dedicated server will use the next one at each restart until it reaches the end and wraps to the first one. An example: track = Lonatotrack2 = Lonato track2_layout = Short track3 = Essay track4 = Essay As you can see tracks can be also be repeated. This feature will be available in next build. VELOCIPEDE
hey PiBoSo already a date for the launch of the beta 4?Not yet. There still is work to do on physics, graphics engine and, most of all, netcode. A few more weeks are needed.
VELOCIPEDE
PiBoSo: The originally planned Beta4 will be split in two:- Beta4 ( that should be released very soon ) will add all the planned features - Beta5 will then focus on multiplayer and graphics engine's optimizations and fixes ( and maybe HDR rendering and post-processing effects ). oppolo
PiBoSo:Not so surprising. With dynamic rubber build-up done making the wet track dry is not difficult. In KRP wet tires on dry track get very hot and wear much faster, but they never blow up.Your feedback is needed to know if they are realistic or not.P.S. Is KRP the first sim/game to have fully dynamic surface? GP3 and SBK X and F1 2010 all had some kind of "evolving" track, but was it pre-calculated on the racing line only? salentino
Ciao a tutti! Grazie e...ci vediamo in pista!
