Il round di apertura della serie TCR Europe SIM Racing ha svelato le versioni virtuali delle auto da corsa TCR che hanno impressionato sia gli addetti ai lavori che i fan per il loro aspetto realistico e dettagliato. Per entrare nel mondo delle corse simulate nel miglior modo possibile, il Gruppo WSC ha scelto l'esperto italiano Luca Ragusa che ha fatto un lavoro straordinario nella programmazione dei modelli omologati e nel rendering delle livree dei diversi piloti. “Il mio lavoro consiste nel programmare le auto per le corse virtuali. Comincio dai rendering 3D realizzati da Lorenzo Prati di LP Design, e attraverso uno strumento su misura lavoro sull'aspetto e sul comportamento funzionale. Per completare ogni modello sono necessarie circa 300 ore di lavoro; quindi il mio partner Marco Sabbatini lavora per rendere la livrea di ogni pilota e gli ci vogliono 20/25 ore in più per auto, a seconda della complessità della decorazione. Il tocco finale è dato da Tino Hartmann che aggiunge il suono delle auto ”, ha spiegato Ragusa. I driver possono regolare solo un numero limitato di parametri. "Durante la programmazione, ho risolto alcune caratteristiche come i rapporti del cambio, la resistenza aerodinamica e le sospensioni, mentre i conducenti possono successivamente impostare la pressione dei pneumatici, la distribuzione dei freni e la calibrazione differenziale." In collaborazione con i dipartimenti tecnici delle case automobilistiche, Ragusa lavorerà presto sulle versioni 2.0 delle auto TCR virtuali.     E' disponibile come promesso per Project CARS 2 il nuovissimo TCR Mod, progetto dedicato all'omonima serie turismo mondiale. Il mod, che utilizza le vetture 3D create dalla collaborazione tra il team CIRacesonline e quello di The Rollovers, ci permette di simulare in modo completo il combattutissimo campionato TCR della passata stagione che, grazie a vetture potenti, divertenti e gestibili, risulta essere assolutamente apprezzabile.
