  1. The TCR Eastern Europe Simracing season is coming to the end. Drivers are now preparing for the final fifth round of the championship, that takes place on Tuesday, August 11, at Automotodrom Brno. Bartosz Groszek from BTC Maszyny Racing has won five out of eight races so far and he has already secured his championship title during the previous round at Slovakia Ring. The overall winner can look forward to a new driver’s overall from an Italian manufacturer OMP. Bartosz Groszek won this racing overall. Yet, there is still plenty to fight for at Brno. As always, race winners will get racing oils from Ravenol company. Also, there is a battle for the overall 2nd place in the championship. For now, Tomáš Korený holds the 2nd position with 191 points, but many others still have at least a mathematical chance. Drivers like Keijo Keke Platzer (183 points), Miklas Born (160 points), Bartlomiej Mirecki (160 points), Constantin Kletzer (155 points), Balint Hatvani (148 points) and Gabriela Jílková (127 points). And to make it even closer, each driver’s worst result will not actually count towards the championship. The final round is scheduled for 21:00 CEST. The live coverage, featuring Pavel Fabry as a commentator, will be available also on the official TCR YouTube channel and social media.
  2. On Tuesday, July 28, the TCR Eastern Europe Simracing virtual championship heads to Slovakia Ring for the penultimate round of the season. Just two days after the opening round of the real TCR Eastern Europe series in Grobnik, the drivers are back for another virtual race. The TCR Eastern Europe Simracing championship continues today with its penultimate round of the season, that takes place at Slovakia Ring. After the first 6 races, Bartosz Groszek is leading the championship. The BTC Maszyny Racing driver has won 4 races so far and has currently 239 points. While the Polish driver is definitely a championship favourite, there are still 180 points in the game. Theoretically, Balint Hatvani (135 points), Miklas Born (135 points) Keijo Keke Platzer (133 points), Constantin Kletzer (128 points), Tomáš Korený (118 points), Tomáš Pekař (96 points), Szymon Ladniak (85 points), Bartlomiej Mirecki (80 points), Petr Fulín (76 points) and Gabriela Jílková (74 points) still have a chance. Also, apart from them, it is worth to watch Jáchym Galáš as well. The GT2 Motorsport managed to take two podiums at the real races at Slovakia Ring last year. While he finished 2nd in the first race, in the following second race he crossed the finish line in the 3rd position. The live coverage starts at 21:00 CEST and you can watch it on a YouTube channel TCR.TV or on social media.
  3. TCR Eastern Europe SIM Racing GROBNIK HOSTS THE THIRD VIRTUAL BATTLE Tonight the show of Round 3 of the TCR Eastern Europe SIM Racing virtual championship will take place at Grobnik, in Croatia. The championship is currently led by Bartosz Groszek. The Polish driver had a great start of the season, taking 3 wins in just 4 races and he has 155 points. Right behind the BTC Maszyny Racing driver is Miklas Born / Quick-mik.ch with 135 points. The Swiss driver of Team Autorama Motorsport AG by Wolf-Power Racing, who also leads the Junior championship, is still waiting to grab his first win of the season, that he would wish to add to his two 3rd place and one 2nd place finish. Balint Hatvani from TEAM UNICORSE holds the 3rd place in the standings. The Hungarian driver has 121 points, thanks to two 2nd place finishes from the races at Hungaroring and Red Bull Ring. However, there are more of those who will try to entertain fans when racing at Grobnik. The previous two rounds have shown that the 3-times European champion Petr Fulín has the pace, just like Keijo Keke Platzer or Tomáš Korený, who is still the only driver to win a race apart from Groszek. The Czech driver has won the 2nd race at Austria. But let’s not forget also Jáchym Galáš or Žarko Knego. While Galáš has a good history at Grobnik, where he took his first-ever win in the real TCR Eastern Europe championship, Knego has the advantage of being local and knowing the track very well. The whole event will start at 21:00 CEST with a qualifying that is going to decide the grid for the first race and give points to the best 10 drivers. In both races, then, top 15 drivers will score points. Also, the grid for the 2nd race will be decided by results of the 1st race, with a reversed grid for the Top 12 drivers.
