  1. Dopo un periodo di silenzio, il team Reiza Studios ci aggiorna sugli sviluppi del suo prossimo futuro. Il simulatore completamente nuovo, successore quindi dell'ottimo Automobilista che, a detta degli stessa Reiza, ha ottenuto un successo superiore alle aspettative, resta naturalmente confermato, anche se posticipato al 2019. Al momento non è ancora certo l'utilizzo dell'ultimo engine ISI motor 2 (quello di rFactor 2), ma la scelta dovrebbe comunque essere questa. Il progetto, al momento misterioso, sta comunque avanzando su altri fronti: una serie di nuovi interessanti accordi di licenza e sviluppo di nuovi contenuti, con l'aggiornamento delle auto e delle piste che verranno trasferite da AMS nel nuovo titolo. E' in arrivo invece il già annunciato pacchetto Reiza rFactor 2 Bundle, che porterà in rFactor 2 4 vetture e due tracciati di Automobilista. I know some of you have been earning for it for a while now Firstly I´d like to assure that the relative lack of news do not mean things haven´t been going on in the background, but some news are indeed overdue and this feels like a good time to offer a round-up of where we stand on various topics - here goes!Reiza Next Title (aka Reiza 201X or the AMS Sequel)This is understandably the biggest source of antecipation so let´s start with that - I´ll try share as much as I can For those of you who may not be aware, some background info: we first announced plans to develop a fully new title after licensing the ISIMotor2 Engine back in 2015 as part of the SimRacing Bonanza crowdfunding campaign to fund further development to Stock Car Extreme (eventually turned into Automobilista), as a way to give backers some foresight of where we were going on the long term (also because this new title was offered as a perk on some investment levels). This new title was at various points refered to as Reiza2017, Reiza2018 or just simply the "AMS Sequel".As it turns out the announcement proved quite premature, and the estimate release schedule optimistic as the 3 years that have gone on since have brought up many changes - Automobilista proved both more demanding and more succesful than we expected, earning it an extended development timeline; some people have moved on while others have joined, lessons have were learned, new partners and better possibilitiies have presented themselves and all the while we have been juggling these changes and evaluating the new options in order to work out the best path forward.While all that has inevitably pushed the schedule for the new release up further, we hope people can appreciate that this is a crucial step for the future and once development sets off on given a path it´s very difficult (and potentially lethal for a small studio such as ourselves) to try turn around. It obviously hasn´t happened in 2017 nor will it in 2018, but release is now set firmly to 2019.The original plan was to develop our own tangent to ISIMotor 2 (and we have done that to some extent with Automobilista), it eventually became clear that tackling the bigger structural changes required to fully update the engine was too risky and time consuming prospect, so we set of looking at alternatives that could deliver and engine to our requirements at a faster pace, and preferably not forcing us to discard the work poured into AMS. The good news is that there are no shortage of good options that will allow us to deliver on those targets.One of which is indeed rFactor 2 - after we announced the rFactor2 Bundle there was some natural speculation about us licensing the rFactor2 engine for the AMS Sequel - the opportunity to develop the Bundle has certainly been valuable for us to properly sink our teeth into that engine and learn more about it, at the same time allowing us to create something fresh and generate some welcome extra revenue with it. It was also a chance to rekindle our relationship with our friends from Studio 397, with whom we had already collaborated early on the development of Automobilista.While licensing the rF2 engine remains a very exciting option, for now development of the Bundle is an end on itself - we´re still evaluating other options including one that has just recently been presented, while remaining adamant a decision will have to be taken soon.In the meantime the project has been advancing in other fronts - we´ve recently secured a number of new exciting licensing deals to go along those we already had; we have also been working on developing new content and further upgrading the cars and tracks that will be ported over from AMS (most of them will).This is what I can share now - while I appreciate this is not as detailed as some might have been hoping for, hopefully when time comes for an official announcement (in a matter of weeks rather than months) the wait will have proven worthwhile Reiza rFactor2 BundleThe next step is on the road is the release of the Reiza rFactor 2 Bundle, an exciting prospect in its own right. Here are some more details we can now share about it.Firstly, the content - these are cars and tracks that will make up the Bundle:CarsMetalmoro AJRMetalmoro MR18MCR Sports 2000Formula Vee TracksGuaporéIbarraOur goal when assembling content for the Bundle was to put together a pack that was at once interesting, complementary and fit in well together along with exiting rF2 content. Obviously the fact this is a 3rd party for another sim means it has to inhabit the design of that product, for that reason you won´t be seeing any of our semi-fictional cars on the Bundle, as Studio397 has been focusing on delivering officially licensed content for rFactor 2.Since there are 50 venues and over 30 series to pick from in Automobilista it would not be surprising for some of you not to find your personal favorite in this package, moving forward though anything is possible - if the Bundle is well received it could be expanded or a new one put together, possibly even including bigger and / or brand new content.Pricing is not 100% finalized but you may expect it to be close to standards of other rFactor 2 DLCs with items being sold individually and the full bundle at a special discount. We are pushing to release all items together before the end of September.Last Automobilista DLCThis is another front where we have been running late over the original prediction, so firstly let me assure everyone that it´s still coming Obviously much later than we´d antecipated - reason in part is that eyeballs have almost inevitably focused elsewhere lately, but the main challenge has been conciling the licensing demands of this DLC with the AMS Season Pass - as this pack wasn´t initially foreseen when we first offered the Season Pass it took some manouvering and a bit more time for us to absorb the costs and keep it free to Season Pass owners. We´ve managed to work it out and should have more details about it in the coming weeks and release not long after.Further Automobilista news is that while core development wrapped early on the year with v1.5.1 release we´ve taken some time to put together one more hotfix to address a few issues presented to us since. It should also be rolling out towards the end of the month.Reiza Backers - what´s nextWe have an extra treat for both Reiza Campaign backers as well as Membership pack owners - thanks also to the kind support of Studio397, upon release of the rF2 Bundle those of you in either group will have the option to request the Reiza rF2 Bundle to be added free to your Steam account (naturally so long as you already own rFactor2). More details on how to proceed to request this will be offered upon release.As further clarification specially to backers who bought into investment levels that included the AMS Sequel and its eventual DLCs as potential perks, we´d like to assure you´ll still be due to receive those perks upon the release of the new title.   3. Il team Reiza Studios ha appena rilasciato il nuovo aggiornamento v1.30 per il suo ottimo Automobilista. Oltre all'update software, il team brasiliano ha reso disponibile anche l'atteso DLC che ci mette a disposizione il glorioso circuito australiano di Adelaide, sia in configurazione storica del 1988 che moderna del 2016. Un'altra novità è rappresentata dalla ARC Camaro Series, oltre al consueto bugfixing e migliorie in ordine sparso. Automobilista v1.30 is released, along with a new DLC: Adelaide is also available for purchase here. If you are interested in other current & upcoming Automobilista DLCs however it is strongly recommended you check the AMS "Season Pass" for all upcoming DLCs (for those that already have the base game) and the bundle of AMS Base + Season Pass (which includes the base game). Welcome to Virtual Xperience, home of online, multiplayer and community services supporting Reiza titles. http://virtualxperience.net/ A new release of Virtual Xperience has been released today including various new features, imporvements and bug-fixes. Rankings This update sees the introduction of new leaderboard rankings, accessible via the leaderboards menu. Due to the vast number of potential combinations of vehicles available in Automobilista a sampling approach is used for the calculation of rankings. Each Driver will have his best lap from each leaderboard series considered as part of their rank to give a comparible score representative of his best abilities accross all series. There are a few rules attached which should be noted. Leaderboards with less than 20 entries will not be counted towards rank (this will likely increase in the future). When a driver has no valid time for a given series he is applied a penalty position equal to the largest VX leaderboard + 1 place. (220 at the time of writing). You can see information regading the laps that counted to your rank and the penalty scores applied on your profile page, accessible via the link in the userbar when logged in. There is additonal work to do in this area and rank calculations may be subject to tweaks in the coming weeks as required but we feel it's time to let the cat out of the back and get you guys involved. User Login & Settings Users can now login using their Steam Account. This opens up opportunities to give a more personalised experience in the various areas of VX. In the first instance the settings page accessible from the top naviagtion bar provides the much requested ability to override your display name and country flag. Any options set here will override those from collected from Steam. Users no longer need to have a public Steam profile to display their choice of flag. Community Section The new community section provides a one-stop-shop to find communities and leagues serving users of Reiza products. The Community Directory provides a filterable listing of communities which support Reiza titles. Find a community based reigions served, laguages used or days they host races. The league finder provides a similar service for leagues. Find leagues that based on race days, event frequency, or your favourite series. Community leaders are invited to submit their information to the directory. Please note you must create an organisation before being able to add a league (controles for this are located inthe sidebar menu of the community details page) and that only the person who creates a community is able to add/edit/delte information at the moment. This will be addressed in an upcomming update. VX Homepage Virtual Xperience now has a home page which provides all the latest Reiza/AMS/VX news & anouncements along with an overview of the current Time Trial of The Week, official server status, and upcomming events. User Profile Each user now has a personal profile page bringing together all their times and ranking information from all combinations they have run. The display is switchable, allowing the display of all a drivers laps or only the laps used to calculate their rank. It's here that rank penalties can be viewed so you know which series you have yet to set a lap for. When logged in you can jump right to your own page via the top navigation menu. Look out for further developement in this area in the near future. Lobby Lobby entries now include alist of available driving aids. To complement this new filters are available to show servers which allow aids you wish to use. Other fixes & changes Leaderboards aids tooltips now correctly match in-game text. Unrecognised Steam profile countries no longer crash leaderboard pages. Leaderboard track selector no correctly shows circuits in alphabetical order (DLC was sorted last previously). Various tweaks & improvements to packaging and back-end services

Entro la fine di febbraio sarà rilasciata la versione 1.3 del software, con varie migliorie sul fronte audio, dei circuiti, fisica dei veicoli e la novità del circuito di Adelaide. Sarà poi attivato un portale specifico, denominato "Virtual Experience", dedicato interamente a gare e campionati online, con statistiche complete e i profili dei giocatori.   7. Hello everyone - happy to be back with our first Development Update of 2017! We hope you all had a good time over the holidays - on our side I´m happy to say the whole team enjoyed some much needed rest over the holiday season, but we have been hard at work and firing on all cylinder again since early january. As usual it´s my pleasure to share with you some of the results, info and previews of the work we´ve been doing since then. Automobilista going up to v1.5 We´re approaching the final stretch of Automobilista development, with only a few more months now planned until AMS reaches its definitive state, at which point we´ll switch focus 100% to the future. The pace of development however is not slowing down - quite the contrary in fact. There are a number of nice improvements, big and small which we´ve been laying down the foundation for and will be pushing to deliver over these remaining months. Such is the extent of these developments, that the full sum of them is going to add up to what we´re calling Automobilista v1.5 We´ll be pushing to provide a full overview of these developments along with confirmation of remaining DLCs by our next development update. For now, here´s the stuff in the immediate horizon. Upcoming V1.3.0 Release Our next major milestone is v1.3.0 which we´re pushing to release before the end of this month, packing a lot of good stuff. Here´s a breakdown of the most substantial improvements: On the audio front, having decided he wasn´t happy being just an ace audio engineer, @Domagoj Lovric began exploring the codebase for possible short-term improvements to add some extra depth to the audio experience in AMS. One of these improvements will be the implementation of reverb audio, the initial version of which will already be present in v1.3.0, with much more to come. @Alex Sawczuk has also somehow managed to find a window in his fairly hectic track production schedule to squeeze some fresh shader improvements and adding support for visible & dynamic track dust. Although the effects of which already present in AMS along with offline marbles, there wasn´t yet a visible dust layer over the track surface. This has now been implemented. Here is a comparison from v1.3.0 in various track states and also one from the current v1.2.1: The difference looks subtle on screenshots but it adds some noticeable extra depth and life to the track surface while driving in-game. Some of the tracks have already been updated to use these developments so Season Pass owners will be able to check them out in the upcoming beta release expected for tomorrow morning, with most of the other tracks expected to be updated as we progress. Several car physics have also received some updates for v1.30 as both @Niels Heusinkveld and myself continue to chase for improvements. One car in particular has received special attention as Niels has given the Boxer Cup physics a complete overhaul, with revised aerodynamics, chassis, and the addition of helper springs to the suspension, which substantially improves handling over curbs. The initial version of these revised physics is also coming up with the next Beta update. One major new feature previously confirmed in our end of the year Dev Update was the Custom Season Tool - unfortunately it´s looking unlikely we´ll manage to complete the full feature in time for v1.3.0, but a number of associated new options & features should hopefully already be in, such as the option to enable a mid-race full course yellow as per the rules in the Formula Truck series, and ability to customize the number of opponent cars from each class in a multiclass event. You may check a complete list of all the additions, improvements & fixes since the last v1.2.1 release up to the latest Beta in the changelog attatched. We also have a new car coming up in the next release with the frisky Aussie Racing Car Camaro - further good news is that unlike originally predicted, this will be released as a free car to the base game and not as a DLC. Here´s a preview of the 3D model which @Sandro Kholodkevich is exporting to the game as we speak: Work on physics and audio has also been going on in parallell - count on this little motorcycle engine-powered bugger to be a big bucket of fun to drive Legendary Tracks Pt2 - ADELAIDE V1.30 will also see the release of part 2 of our "Legendary Tracks" DLC series - the famous Adelaide street circuit is coming up in two versions: the longer historical layout of 1988 which hosted the Australian GP from 1985 to 1995, the new modern version along with its Supertruck variant. Below you can check some WIP previews of this great track: I mentioned in the previous update how demanding street tracks are for the track team, with all the buildings and surroundings which have to be modelled in minute detail as you can see here: The more advanced modern version should be hitting AMS Beta tomorrow, with the historical version is not far behind and expected to be available in the Beta at some point next week: Both versions are extremely fun, flowing drives which will serve well pretty much any car in Automobilista, while also providing plenty of opportunity for close racing. We´ve been enjoying some great battles during our internal tests as can be seen in this short video showing a couple of laps of myself hunting down @Alex Sawczuk with F-Retros around the modern track: Virtual Xperience developments @Dave Stephenson has also been hard at work developing our Virtual Xperience portal, and we´ve got a substantial update coming up along with the release of AMS v1.3.0. Users will be able to login into VX using their Steam Account - this opens up opportunities to give a more personalised experience in the various areas of VX. In the first instance the settings page accessible from the top naviagation bar provides the much requested ability to override your display name and country flag, overriding the settings collected from Steam. From this customizable user profile, other users will be able to check out your leaderboard results. Expect this profile to be beefed up with some more interesting info in the future The new Community section will also be available in the next update, providing a one-stop-shop to find communities and leagues serving users of Automobilista and other Reiza titles based on regions served, languages used or days they host races. The league finder in this section will also provide a similar service for leagues so users may find leagues that based on race days, event frequency, or your favourite series. Community leaders and league admin are invited to submit their information to the directory following the instructions in this topic - every league admin who submits a valid entry will be gifted 2 promo Steam keys for AMS to be given away for his participants. With these and some other substantial improvements coming up, VX will soon be playing a bigger role in fulfilling the experience with AMS, including hosting some prize awarding competitions.     Automobilista: dev update agosto

    V1.01 hotfix Since release last week we´ve identified a few teething issues which we have been since dutifully pursuing - one always tries to be ahead of these but unfortunately a full release is always a bit of a leap into the unknown as we go from having a few hundred beta testers to many thousand of users and the vast range of OS, hardware, drivers and third party software combinations that comes with it. One issue that we have partially identified is that AMS v1.0 is failing to launch with Windows 7 if Service Pack 1 is not installed - we´re still pursuing the reason why this came to be with v1.0, but for now we can confirm that updating Win 7 with SP1 is required. The hotfix will pack some further DynHUD improvements, fixes to Time Trial mode and some other priority fixes. Another issue we´ve been pursuing is further optimization, in particular to memory load - since AMS is a 32bit app, it can only use up to 4GB of system RAM, which means whenever AMS is running north of 3.2GB (as measured from the task manager) it may run into some instability issues. As we´ve been pushing for higher details from cars and tracks, this can mean that running a grid over the specified limits for any given series (usually in between 22-26 cars, other than StockV8 which allows 32) has the risk of overloading the system, causing instability issues and potentially Runtime errors or CTDs. We´re working on optimizing some of the higher detail models, as well as having the series´ max number of opponents better enforced to keep the game constantly on a safer range. Some of these updates are already upcoming with this hotfix. V1.1 development There are some important new features, both planned and already in the works to make AMS an even more complete sim package before we finally wrap up its development. One of these which we can confirm for v1.1 is the Integrated Spotter, based on the popular Crewchief mod as developed by @gongo - here´s a sneak preview: I've included subtitles (using the Message Center) for people who have a hard time hearing/understanding, or for those players who are deaf (like Ivysaur). It also allows for different language translations while still using the original audio (or vice-versa). It includes the ability to spot other vehicles in pit lane (useful for larger races with everyone diving into pits) and also tells you when the safety car is out on track or coming into the pit lane. It will also tell you the pit is open depending on whether or not you are on the lead lap so you never have to guess when you're actually allowed to come in to pit. It announces when the pit crew is ready and when they've abandoned the pit request (timed out) as well as when you've requested or unrequested the stop. And since it's integrated directly into the engine, it also tells you when you have a drive-through, stop-n-go, or other penalty as well. And yes, it will announce the start of the race session countdown even when you're in the garage as well as give you a "go, go, go" as soon as your pit stop is complete (as requested by Will Mazeo). Pit exit clear/has traffic notification is tied directly to the pit exit lights, so if you see it flashing blue, it will tell you there is traffic. The blue flag notification is tied directly to the display of the icon in the corner of the screen, so when you see it, you'll hear the message too. 1st DLC - The Brit Pack As previously announced, our first DLC pack for Automobilista will be the BRIT PACK, comprising 3 classic british tracks along with 4 british club racing cars - these are: BRIT PACK - Tracks Brands Hatch Cadwell Park Oulton Park We don´t have a preview of Oulton Park to show yet, but we do have some good news regarding its development as following our recon trip to the track we´ve also managed to get hold of LIDAR data for it, meaning Oulton will have the distinction of being our first track based on laser scan data! BRIT PACK - Cars Ultima GTR (road & race spec) MCR Sports 2000 MCR-2000_WIP.jpg Formula Trainer - A semi-fictional wingless trainer car based on british F-Ford, featuring both slicks & treaded tires - this is the bonus car hinted in last month´s update: Caterham (several models) - more details to be confirmed about the included Caterham series soon! The BRIT PACK is scheduled for official release on September 27th and will sell for US$ 19.99. Subsequent DLC packs will be released in the following months. More details on what these upcoming DLCs will feature will be presented in our next Dev Update Worth pointing out that the AMS Season Pass is now also available for purchase from Steam - owners of the Season Pass (which includes Reiza Members as well as backers from all levels of last year´s crowdfunding campaign) will already earn the BRIT PACK along with all the other upcoming AMS DLCs. Besides securing all DLCs with a single specially discounted purchase, Automobilista Season Passalso grants Automobilista BETA - a standalone / independent development version ofAutomobilista, which receives regular updates of in-development features and content, allowing users an early taste of these upcoming goodies (including the DLC items) as these gradually hit beta status.     While current US jurisprudence regarding application of copyright / trademark law in videogames indicates the legal validity of such claims may be debatable, ultimately it shouldn´t really matter as we feel the inherent value of Automobilista does not relate to the visual accuracy (or lack thereof) of some of its unofficial cars, but rather to the quality and realism of the racing experience that it provides and which we produce. With this hopefully established, we´d like to thank everyone for your continuing support - rest assured we have been and continue pushing hard towards getting Automobilista ready for full release!     Problemi di licenze per Automobilista

    Come già accaduto in passato per alcuni mods di Formula 1, fatti sparire dalla rete in tutta fretta, anche il nuovo Automobilista dei Reiza è inciampato nelle licenze "non" ufficiali e violazione dei diritti di copyright. Il gioco è stato infatti rimosso da Steam a causa di una segnalazione di violazione di licenza e diritti. Lo stesso team brasiliano spiega il tutto nel messaggio qui sotto. Per tornare online Automobilista dovrebbe essere sufficiente rimuovere quei contenuti inseriti in game senza licenza. Avete già un'idea di cosa potrebbe trattarsi? The Steam store page for Automobilista has been taken down due to a copyright infringement claim which had been submitted to Valve. As is known, Automobilista packages a variety of officially licensed cars & brands alongside fictionalized, originally created content. The claim in question does not make any specific reference to content present in Automobilista supposedly in infringement of the party´s copyright - until it does, our belief is that it has no merit. We have already taken the appropriate measures to resolve the issue ASAP, but in accordance to Valve´s policy, the process may take a few days to be completed. In the meantime time we will continue to progress with the development of Automobilista, and intend to release another Early Access update shortly. The game is available for purchase as part of our Membership packages from our forum store. Please understand that until the matter is fully resolved, we may not be able to discuss it.

    Con un lungo e dettagliato messaggio, il team Reiza Studios ci aggiorna su quale sarà il futuro prossimo del suo nuovo ed apprezzato titolo Automobilista. Come potete leggere in dettaglio a questo link, la fase di accesso anticipato tramite Steam andrà avanti fino alla fine di Aprile (una nuova build arriverà domani), ci sarà gran lavoro per la creazione di un portale web dedicato alle gare online, ma non mancheranno migliorie, aggiornamenti e nuovi contenuti, come ad esempio la Boxer GT3 Cup (ovvero la Porsche) e circuiti come il Virginia Raceway.
