Dopo lunga attesa, il team MAK Corp ha finalmente rilasciato epr rFactor 2 la nuova versione aggiornata 1.0 del suo imperdibile 1991 Group C Mod, il progetto dedicato alle mitiche e spettacolari vetture prototipo del Gruppo C dei primi anni '90. La nuova release implementa tutte le novità legate alle DirectX 11 supportate dal simulatore di Studio 397, ma porta con sè anche svariate migliorie e novità sul fronte della fisica, sonoro e modelli delle tre vetture disponibili. The 1991 Group C mod includes the Mazda 787B, Porsche 962C and the Sauber C11 in the latest version of the mod for rFactor 2. Featuring unique realistic physics for each vehicle as well as different tire compounds, this is your chance to get behind the wheel of the three most iconic racing cars in the history of Group C racing. Features - 1991 Mazda 787B model by Ionut Nicolaescu, updated by Dmitriy Barishev. - 1991 Porsche 962C model by Dmitriy Barishev - 1991 Sauber C11 model by Dmitriy Barishev - Unique physics for each vehicle - Unique engine sounds for each vehicle Changelog MAK-Corp Group C Mod v1.0 ------------------------- - DX9 car now retired by new version. - All cars fully rebuilt, reworked and running to DX11 standard. - All physics brought up to current standard and optimisations as well, more detail below for the guys. - Motec display redone for the Mazda 787B to real car layout and new low fuel warning, thanks Damian. - Oil Temp added in to the secondary display area in the Porsche cockpit. - All materials have been fixed and adjusted and mesh quality increased in places to enhance the experience. - All little things like external cameras clipping for example, looked into and corrected. - We are optimised for night racing as well, but bear in mind that environment at night is not complete there yet . - Complete re-balance on all items visually. - A lot of real life balancing visually on all cars. - New corrected tyre sidewall for the Sauber, before was unbelievably, inverted. - Mazda now correctly has centre of origin for spinner and external cameras. - More Sauber Cars added to balance car skin ratios better, thanks Alavaro. - All custom skins improved for DX11 build - thanks to all the skin guys Damian, Daniel and Arturo. - Only functionality missing is fully working wiper functionality currently, but rain support is included already. Physics ------- Mazda 787B ---------- - Engines now have three mixture positions. - New Ultrachassis added with revised suspensions geometries/chassis flex. - New CPM tyres with the latest options. Compounds have different grip and warming levels to match the different tracks. - Reworked diffuser and relocated. - Revised AI to match real driver behaviour as much as possible (variable from track to track) and improved performance in wet. - Front and rear downforce from the bodywork revised. - Clutch torque revised for shifter and pad options. - Added engine power detail on garage. - Damage revised. Porsche 962 ----------- - WSC engine have a new turbo flow. - Rear Goodyear tyres now uses 18 inch rims instead 19 inches. - New Ultrachassis added with revised suspensions geometries/chassis flex. - New CPM tyres with the latest options. Compounds have different grip and warming levels to match the different tracks. - Reworked diffuser and relocated. - Revised AI to match real driver behaviour as much as possible (variable from track to track) and improved performance in wet. - Front and rear downforce from the bodywork revised. - Clutch torque revised for shifter and pad options. - Added engine power detail on garage. - Damage revised. Sauber C11 ---------- - Improved performance (less drag, more grip, etc). - Updated engine brake torque, throttle maps, mixtures and softened turbo pressure build up. - Reduced drag caused by rake. - Added undertray points and improved collision detection and aerodynamics while flipping in the air. - Updated tire construction materials and resolution (more flexible and detailed). - Improved all tires thermodynamics, wear and grip for wet weather. - Reduced rubbered path effect on tire grip. - Reduced grass, dirt, and other terrain types effects on tire temperature. ------ Sounds ------ - Mazda 787B: Improved low rpm power range and high rpm coast sample. - Porsche 962C: Added high rpm variants for exterior engine. - Sauber C11: Increased turbo intensity. - All cars updated to cockpit damping feature. Oggi, oltre a varie migliorie al sito web, è stata pubblicata anche una interessante intervista a Petros Mak, del modding team MAK Corp. What do you like and dislike most about modding? In regards to what I like about modding. I think the main thing that I like is the ability to meet artists from all over the world who have the talent and passion to be in the industry but don’t necessarily get the chance to be in the industry due to lack of education qualifications. I myself never finished school due to my health issues but I am here today because modding allowed me to develop a team, to build quality mods and to showcase the talents of all involved behind the team....

    rF2: Mercedes W04 by MAK-Corp

    Dopo aver inaugurato il suo nuovo Dev Blog, il team MAK Corp ha annunciato con i primi renders lo sviluppo della Mercedes W04 della stagione 2013 di Formula 1. La monoposto sarà rilasciata in primis per rFactor 2 ed appena sarà possibile anche per Assetto Corsa. Non sono invece previste le versioni per rFactor o Race 07 e nemmeno altre vetture F1 2013. We’d like to welcome you all to our very first Dev Blog in the new era of MAK-Corp. Our new Dev Blog website is intended to provide development info and progress as we develop various vehicles, mods, personal projects and other projects we are able to show. Our aim is to become closer with the community and showcase the work we do from its beginning to its release and beyond. We hope you will enjoy this site and we welcome comments and discussions here as well.
  5. Today we are happy to announce that we will soon be opening our new online shop. The new shop is being made with a few purposes in mind and one is to help strengthen and grow the modding world by offering artists and modders the ability to sell their mods (licensed and own design) through our shop and acquire a commission of up to 75% for each sale. Modding has become a lot more time consuming and tougher for many artists who are striving to make a living with what they love to do, MAK-Corp aims to offer such artists a base to be able to sell their work so these artists are not lost to the community and so that the community can continue to acquire top quality add ons for their favourite games. Artists who desire to sell their own designed cars or tracks in our shop will receive 75% of each sale of their products giving an unprecendented % to the artist which is higher then any other 3D selling website on the world wide web from the starting point. By doing this MAK-Corp can help artists make money while providing great quality content to the community. Artists who sell on the MAK-Corp store as vendors will be required to abide laws and their work will be subject to approval. Licensed content will not be sold in the shop unless proper license docuementation is provided to show that the seller has the necessary licenses to sell the content in the packages. Artists are encouraged to design their own cars with their own branding to which can then be sold on our shop sharing the artistic qualities of the artist to the entire community. Car Add-ons will cost no more then 5 euro per car and there will be packages combining cars and series in a more cheaper price. Buyers who spend over a specific amount will be given vouchers and coupons as well as special gifts throughout the year. Track add-ons price are yet to be determined. There will also be a host of other services such as skinning services, modeling services, rendering services and other services which various artists will provide through our shop. MAK-Corp already has a full list of artists who have joined from around the world as independant developers to develop and release their products in the shop for the community to enjoy at an affordable price. Licensed cars will also be provided by various artists and MAK-Corp who have acquired licenses for such cars. Some are more well known where others are less, but we hope to provide more exposure for all licensed content as well as all artistic content from the various artists and vendors who have joined as well as those who may decide to join in the future. We are pleased to say that UnitedRacingDesign run by Alless has joined and will be selling the T5 Series Aura T5 and Bayro T5 as pictured above. Other games are also being considered to be added in the future as well as expanding to new release games in the future. This is something that is yet to be determined and will be announced as we get to those stages. Artists will be free to sell their packages on any game they choose and MAK-Corp may provide a service to add those cars to other games for players of those games if there is high demand.
